    Hi everyone !!
Well I got a little bit of sleep last night !! Chris got up with Dylan and they stayed downstairs to finish off sleep instead of waking me coming back to bed !!! However when I got up this morning, Chris said he hadnt slept and is away to bed, so much for taking me shopping today :(
Is it sad that I am really looking forward to getting the new Argos book today ??

Thanks all for the support yesterday about my afternoon with my friends children. I'm just working out now what to say about future events. She has spoken about next time, so I think she'd like it to happen again, so I'm going to work out how to chat about it with her :)

If my kids jumped on furniture and generally ran wild I would be eager to [STRIKE]get rid of them [/STRIKE] get a friend to sit with them again too!
Just say you bit off more than you could chew, Fergie is still very small and you aren't ready to look after 4 kids again at the moment. She must know what a handful hers are.

Want to get some sunglasses for LO... any ideas for reasonable price/ good quality... looked on Boots website and they are £12 which is a lot to pay if he wont wear them?

Was beaten to it but I have also bookmarked Babybanz :D

You could adopt my little girl weezl ;)

Well LO having her morning nap and hubby at the gym. I'm lounging on the couch with my mse friends :p;)

My Stokke highchair arrived and is brilliant - LO loves it so a huge hit all round. A big recommendation and thumbs up here. We ended up shopping yesterday afternoon. Most of it was very boring things like the asda promotion of 2 big boxes of nappies for £18 blah, blah, blah. However, I did get the most gorgeous pair of shoes so I am now officially a Yummy Mummy :D

The day was rounded off very well with a girls night in - 5 friends, a case of champagne (left over from one of the girls wedding so very mse) and a take away. and DH did the night waking which happened for the first time in 4 nights :j

Plus, I think I've convinced DH that we shouldn't take LO with us to our friends wedidng at the end of next month - so looks like we are getitng a grown up weekend away:T:T:eek:

congreats to skinty - can anyone update us on the basic details?

Morning nap!! Benjamin still manages no more than 30 or 40 mins during the day!
Yay for shoes and champagne :D

And double yay for grown up weekends away! We loved getting away for the night but we were desperate to come home in the morning (no more lazy lie-ins in hotel rooms for us).

    MM - yup ;)

What's with the Farm Town invitation??? Farmville is enough to keep me busy!
    Is it good?

Massive panic earlier...have just about calmed down. Henry managed to open the front door  and let himself and the dog out....he then wandered across the road at the end of ours and went to the play area in the park opposite...

Eep - can you put a lock at the top of the door... I can't remember the name of them, but the ones like a big bathroom lock where you just slide the latchy bit accross? I'm lucky where we are - even if she managed to get out of the front door, to get off the landing she would either need to call the lift (and the button is about my eye level) or push open 2 really heavy fire doors to get to the stairs. So I think we will be ok for the time being!

finding an object (or a person), patting it and poking it gently a few times, then BEATING IT WITH ALL HIS MIGHT GLEEFULLY. Do baby girls do this?!

This one does! She loves hitting things with other things too - she has a wooden teething toy which she uses as a percussion instrument to hit anything she can (including me) ... I'm trying to instil the concepts of "no" and "gently", but I have a feeling it is too early for them just yet!

There's a new argos book out?!!!! I've just texted DH to pick one up. Him and baby are in town - they now have a regular date at the pub so they can spend time together without him having to change his Saturday routine . I've got to go fetch her in time for lunch, so must get on with a few bits first. Was meant to be spending my hour productively, not on the internet ;)

Since 4-5 months or so, Elijah has done what we call "typical boy" things around poking-and-destroying - along the lines of finding an object (or a person), patting it and poking it gently a few times, then BEATING IT WITH ALL HIS MIGHT GLEEFULLY. Do baby girls do this?!

Yes. Well mine does anyway, she also steals toys off unsuspecting children, pinches pulls hair and skin and likes to hit stuff with other stuff!

Just been to Sainsburys for some shopping (as a change from our normal Aldi shop) and they had some there reduced in sale so got some for him to try as they were only £1.50. This was I can see if he gets on with them adn if they get lost I dont mind...... also got some nice pjs reduced to put away for a few months time....

Police have been back this morning and one of them said his little boy 'escaped' a couple of weeks ago the same way so dont feel quite so bad!!! The door is permanently locked at the moment.

Sami, dont think I did sign up for Bizzie thing as couldnt find link... can you post again.

aw thanks sami! So most of you have dated a fergus or seen him on telly?!

:rotfl:Elle it was so good for fergus' gripey pain that we put 5 ml in each feed at the HV's recommendation, so we needed a bottle every 5 days (there's 30 servings in a bottle and he was on 6 feeds a day then ;)

I notice the warrington guardian tet you order greetings cards with their photos on. Hmmmmm, who shall I send one of the boobie picnic to?! :)

going car booting again today :T:T:T:T I think I may have an addiction :o
I think you need to just be honest with your friend, tell her you found it hard work and that they didn't respect your things as you would expect. I wouldn't take offense if someone told me this about my children but I would then try to 'fix' it by making sure I kept telling them that when they go to Aunty Weezl's that they MUST listen to what she tells them and that its not OK to jump off her sofa or on her ottoman. If it still doesn't go well the 2nd time I'd wait a few months until they and Fergie are slightly older and have another go :)

We've had, expensive £20ish pair that were great until Chris broke them
£3 pair from sainsbury's - fab until he broke them
currently on £4 pair from M&S still in one piece but for how long who knows - in preparation I got another pair in the Next sale £3 all had the EU kitemark thingy so don't go spending loads, even if he's half as clumsy and destructive as Chris they won't last long!
