I've had 2 ganglions before and had them cut out in hospital.

Yes 3 you can earn nectar points from Ebay just go throught the nectar website. Actually you can earn them through Mothercare aswell online and loads of other websites.

Massive panic earlier...have just about calmed down. Henry managed to open the front door  and let himself and the dog out....he then wandered across the road at the end of ours and went to the play area in the park opposite... I was washing up at the time and thought he was watching Thomas dvd....ran after him to find some young girls had found him, called their mum who was on to the police when I got there!! I am such a bad mother at the moment and quite down on myself... he was crying when I got there but as soon as I picked him up he started laughing! OH was at work so my mum came round to help me calm down.... Hes not even 2 yet!!!!
Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.

I only go through Nectar for Amazon as pretty much everyone else does quidco which is much better IMO

Remember what savvy says You are doing a good job!!

Chris is capable of finding and using a key and has been for months.
I have strict rules about keeping all doors locked and keys being kept really high up! we have a kind of porch so I have a lock on the door at the very top of the door (one of those where the key is like a star)which is always locked and I hang the keys on that key.
It must have been very scary but he is fine you just need to make sure he can't do it again :)

    ^^^ wot she said.

Two parts to making sure he can't do it again, one is that he physically CAN'T do it again in a hurry, the other that he knows he mustn't!

Given that he was crying when you got there, he's probably got that bit. But he may need reminding ... :rotfl:

BTW, I don't want you all to think mine were perfect at that age or that I was a very good mother. I wasn't. DS1 burned his hand before he was a year old, then fell through a glass door and cut his head open, and he wanted to leave home when he was 7 or so; I lost DS2 at the top of a very steep river bank and had everyone scouring the area for me, he was brought back to me in a police car, and then at the end of last month we failed to collect him from University the day we should have done; and I've had DS3 passed out on the bathroom floor drunk (as a teenager not a toddler!)

BUT, given the raw materials, I still say

I AM DOING A GOOD JOB!

And so can each of you.

I'm a "bad mother" too! James has been injured so many time. He was supposed to be in bed when he was two, when I heard an almighty clatter and sreaming. He'd climbed up onto the windowsill and was trying to parachute off the windowsill onto his bed, only the distance is too far. He landed badly on the floor, fell backwards and cracked his head off the radiator. Had to go to hospital and get his split head glued back together.

Charlotte can open our front door too, although she's only gone onto the drive. She was running in and out the other day when I was getting shopping in out the car and within seconds she'd just vanished. I was frantic in the street, yelling for her and the man opposite was washing his car and he said he hadn't seen her go past. Was going to lock the front door and go look for her, when she popped out from behind the bins (on the path down the side of the house) and yelled "pee po". I could have hugged her and throttled her at the same time :D

Off to Leeds today for a uni tutorial. It's nice getting out but I'm going to miss my lot :o
Here I go again on my own....

ETA: Sami, you beat me! Mine (Woodwards) says discard after 14 days - surely you've got serious problems if your baby needs that much within 14 days! Why do it in such big bottles?

:rotfl:Elle it was so good for fergus' gripey pain that we put 5 ml in each feed at the HV's recommendation, so we needed a bottle every 5 days (there's 30 servings in a bottle and he was on 6 feeds a day then ;)

I notice the warrington guardian tet you order greetings cards with their photos on. Hmmmmm, who shall I send one of the boobie picnic to?! :)

Thanks all for the support yesterday about my afternoon with my friends children. I'm just working out now what to say about future events. She has spoken about next time, so I think she'd like it to happen again, so I'm going to work out how to chat about it with her :)

going car booting again today :T:T:T:T I think I may have an addiction :o

Thanks everyone. I must admit I feel a bit better this morning after a sleep. Dreading today as OH working again til 5! But my mum says she will have him for a couple of hours later after we have been and done our shopping.... It just always amazes me how quickly they pick things up.

The police didnt come back last night as there was a big accident on a main road near us so they may pop in today I guess......

maz I'm glad you feel a bit better. So sorry about your scary day yesterday :(

    guess what?!!!

I learnt to make ruffles last night!

I really need to have a girl baby. Ruffles on fergie is just cruel! :)

ps the girl I made the skirt for has chicken pox. Would you guys still take fergie to the party? Lots of people seem to think it's good to have it when they're quite little cos they're not coordinated enough to scratch the heads off the blisters. Sparkle, what do you think after Lexi's experience :)

Sorry :o Didn't do the maths! Prob cos I'm used to given medicine doses of 0.5ml so the bottle looks huge :)
