:hello:hello im back! had a fantastic day out the sun was shining all day, the drink was flowing:beer: and the food was fantastic. erin had good fun watching everything and speaking to everyone, the mud was sticky and the buggy was a nightmare to push though it. i actually lost count of all the BF mums! and i got talking to a lady with a beautiful sling that she had made herself! she even helped me position erin better in my sling!(i usually have it with me incase she wants fed and there is nowhere to sit)
oh and i spoke to an osteopath who showed me things to do for the spd and talked me through exercises? she gave me a leaflet and said i can have free consultation and reduced rates at £20 per session, she also looked into the problems my nephew is having and said she would take a look at him!
am now exhausted and have a bit of a sore head not sure if its sun/alcohol related!

hope you all had a good day!

snip, snip - What on earth are all of those?!

L&O SVU - Law & Order Special Victims Unit
Dorito Collisions - two flavours of Doritos in one bag! Can you believe it?! What took someone so long to invent this?!
Ditto for Rowntrees Pick & Mix - Fruit Pastilles, Fruit Gums AND Tooty Frooties all in one bag! Genius!

Benjamin likes remote controls  typical man!! I gave him the one to the DVD recorder (that we never use!) so he wouldn't keep changing channel on us!

I forgot to say that I went to see neicey and great neice yesterday and took a box of neutral things Benjamin has grown out of and other useful bits and bobs...one of which was the small swim nappies (not many places do the really small ones). Neicey said 'oh that's great cos we were gonna go swimming on Sunday '

Great Neice will be 12 days old - am I being an old fuss-pot saying she needs to leave it a bit longer so baby is a bit stronger? She is still a screwed-up little dot at the moment! I think I persuaded her to leave it for a bit.

Hubby was ready to ring his sis and tell her to get on a plane back home when I told him (bit of an over-reaction!).

Is it awful that my first thought was that neicey would probably still be bleeding  rather than great neicey being too young?!

    xx

Hmmm - one of my RL BLW friends said that she thought the wipeable cloths were really fiddly and messy. She recommended cheap tablecloths and sticking them in the washing machine...she sticks hers in with her nappies.
I guess it depends how messy they are. If you've not got wipeable ones you need to stick them in the washer at a certain frequency to avoid them going all horrible. Alice didn't make a huge amount of mess so it would have seemed like a waste to be washing then that often and the wiping up wasn't a huge amount of labour but if they're very messy then it probably would be worth it to have ones you stick in the wash.

oh MFD i forgot that baby cannot go swimming until they have had at least their first injections due to polio being water boune and with people coming into the country that have not been vaccinated then there is more risk of baby becoming ill with it!

wow SB they all sound good!!!!!!!
