Thank you money maker, that's very helpful, bless you.0 -
These things can take time to do however, I did see something that suggested it can take 9 months to start to finish. With the Shelter being placed away from the bus stop there may be a good reason why it is the only place it could be put- pavement clearance, services etc.0

Hi flyingscotno1,
Yes, I can see there must be a reason, as it would just be odd otherwise that they didn't put it where the bus stop is, or on the other side of it. I'm hoping that it's just a mistake that's been made though. Or at least that they can turn it to face the other way.0 -
Have you tried to contact your local Planning Dept? They will be able to advise if planning permission was (a) necessary, and (b) sought.
I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

Buy a transit van and park it outside your house.
Paint rolling hills and meadows on your side of the van, or a nice sea view.Beware of imitations e.g. Robert Sterling0 -
Write 'What the hell are you staring at?' in big letters on your lounge window?"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

u have a point as they said it was going to be outside another house... however as its a main road with no garden i dont see u getting far complaining.
get net curtains... i thought everyone used em anyway regardless of location of property.0 -
A new fun activity for the chavs in your area to engage in other than banging on your front door as they walk along on the pavement. I'd rather they looked than caused damage. Take up naturism perhaps and see if they stop looking or you create a crowd!?0

handy transport link though....work permit granted!0

No, as I said, the bus stop is not opposite my house, people used to stand where the bus stop is, (a good 10 feet further away) and not directly accross from my window.
In which case you once had people walking down the street, able to look through your window.
Now you have people sat on a bench, able to look through your window.
What exactly is the problem? Do you walk around the house topless? If so, pics please.0
