If you read the initial post, the bus shelter has only been there "a few months", and was not sited in accordance with the prior notification the OP was given. She has probably been wondering what to do about it for those few months, and has now decided she has to take action.

I read it as the stop had been there a few months and was sited correctly after consultation, and that the shelter was added later without consultation.

As I said, I'm not unsympathetic, but I also wouldn't want her to get her hopes up. It will cost several thousand pounds to move, and probably require another round of consultation. Unless TfL have not followed the proper procedure, I really don't rate her chances. For the record I do this sort of thing for a living, so I'm not just posting for the sake of it, I'm trying to offer an informed (but not expert) opinion.

Oops sorry my mistake :o. There's me suggesting you didn't read the OP correctly, and it was me not reading your post correctly causing the confusion.

    I sincerely apologise.

    Hi OP

I must admit that this would really annoy me too!

I applied for planning permission recently and it was denied due to my neighbours privacy being compromised which i fully appreciate. Can't see how your situation is any different really. I do think your privacy is being compromised! I can imagine the response i would have gotten from my local planning dept if i said (can't my neighbours just put up some net curtains in their kitchen!!)

I've had a quick look down my street at the bus shelters (sad i know!) and they are all facing the other way! On roads close to me if the pavement is narrow and bulit up with houses there is only a bus stop, nowhere to sit down!

    Good luck with your quest!

Sorry to the op, BUT, this post is dragging on and getting totally boring.

Pay £50 to a bloke down the pub and he will put the angle grinder through the bus shelter, and attach it to the next HGV that comes along:confused:

    Problem GONE :rotfl: :rotfl:
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed
