People standing at bus stops tend to look down the road towards the direction the bus will be coming from.

Bus shelters, while causing seated waiting passengers' line of vision to be directly in front of them, can also attract gatherings of youngsters who have nowhere else to go. While this in itself is not necessarily a bad thing, it can mean they congregate with their loud ghetto blasters and bottles of White Lightning, and generally make a nuisance of themselves.

I can't believe this shelter was erected without some sort of planning approval, in which case the local residents should have been given the opportunity to object.
    :D I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe :D

Could you not get Venetian blinds as these are cheaper than Vertical blinds?
Our house is right next to a footpath which passes right by our living room window and I hate it because people stand at my fence looking in as its not a big part of garden there. Its mostly the chavs who do it, and its intimidating when they stare in at you or make gestures. I just have a rollerblind though but I just keep the blind closed over half of the window so if theyre standing out there they cant see in.
I have nets in other rooms.. however I am not an old lady (under 25) and have no cats (only dogs) and I hope I dont smell of wee..:p lol. :rotfl:

Would you want it outside yours.

    YES or NO

I don't think anyone would WANT a bus stop across the street from them BUT rather than getting high blood pressure I would get the blinds.

I bet the OP don't moan so much when she has to catch a bus. :D

Blinds are a silly idea. The bus driver wouldn't be able to see if there was anyone waiting at the stop or not, and those queuing would have to keep sticking their head out to see if the bus was coming down the road.

You clown - the blinds will be in the OP's windows, not on the bus shelter. Or was your tongue firmly in your cheeck?
