  • Strangely I logged in from my iPhone this afternoon but now I cannot log in. I keep getting the log in screen. I can change passwords and memorable information thou. But when logging in on my girlfriends blackberry I have no problems logging in at all. Is anyone else trying to log in on an iPhone?
  • I'm using an iPad - no problems logging in until tonight, still not working. On twitter they are currently saying they are aware there is a problem.

Well that's something I suppose. Thanks for the info.
  • Reading all the issues people are having doesn't fill me with much confidence.

I have a different issue with my halifax online banking. 2 of my web savers have just disappeared. I know they were doing something to their site but I thought the work was supposed to be finished by now.

I called their help desk on monday, to which they put an urgent report through. I called today and they have no idea if anyone is dealing with it. So putting a request for up date in.

The two accounts I cant see have the majority of my money in. I have to pay my bills inc. rent and book my car in for my brakes changing. If I cant see my money I cant do this. I'm on the verge of having to pay late fees now. Which I told them, to which they just apologised.

I feel like they have just taken my money. I'm not too sure what to do now. Any one have any advice what I can say or do when I call them up later to check whats happening?

Thing is there are millions of Halifax customers, and for 99.9% of them it probably did go smoothly.

Care to tell us where you got the 99.9% figure from?
Of course there are people like you and others on this forum that it didnt go well for and you are having problems.
Which shows inadequate preparation and testing of all types of customers/accounts.
But these forums (and others like it) dont accurately represent the whole customer base.
    So what does?
And by nature the people posting will be the ones having problems, not the ones that arent
It will be the ones who are members of this forum, and are sufficiently motivated to make a comment.

There have been some comments about improvements (e.g. FPS) as well as problems. There are also likely to be people who haven't (as yet) noticed that there are problems on their accounts. The bank seems to be doing a lot of 'fire-fighting' as a result of the migration. That doesn't imply things went entirely smoothly.

My point being is that there are 956,797 members of these forums. How many of those are Halifax customers? Whatever the figure, its still going to be small percentage of the overall Halifax userbase.

Of course no customer should have problems, but unfortunately that isnt the way things like this work. There will always be problems with a select few. And generally forums are there for people to moan about issues they have. No matter what subject the forum is about you will get the people having problems who shout the loudest. Im not saying there werent problems, because clearly there were, but for the vast majority there probably wasnt

Are they still missing? I have two accounts, also gone missing. I phoned them and they said wait 48-72 hours for us to fix it.

Websaver Fixed Rate accounts are still missing, phoned again to complain and they are still saying that there is a technical issue with displaying some accounts. They obviously don't have a very good technical team, if people's accounts have gone missing for over a week, and they cannot fix it.
