SamKnows.com is only as up to date as the last set of information they obtained. TalkTalk haven't released a list of exchanges they will be installing their equipment at (and I don't think they have started yet - June/July I read), and therefore SamKnows.com doesn't have this data to show you.
Similarly, SamKnows.com doesn't have the details of exchanges where Tiscali now have LLU.0 -
Only BT have to (by law) allow you to use companies like 18866 to re-charge your calls, I don't know if TT allow this but they cerainly don't have to and if they do allow it could stop it at any time.
I have this:
Line rental with BT £9.99
2MB broadband with V21 £9.99 (this price as I'm signed to their call provider).
cost of monthly call £0.40p
My calls are this low as I never dial a 0870 or 0874 number, I use my all inclusive mobile minutes to make calls from home and make use of the free weekend call with the V21 call provider. And 18866 but I hardly usee this now with my free mobile minutes.
I'm more than happy with what I have and no tie in and still with BT who have to allow me to route my calls where I wish..0 -
1899 is now cheaper then 18866 for 01/02 calls.
Their is a long thread on the Telecom Forum which covers Telephone aspects of deal.See:http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1813190 -
Checked tt website.Seems there is a waiting list now.Broadband will take until the end of june to get up and running in my area(Aberdeen).0

Im with Wanadoo which ive got for 6months at £14.99(not under contract)....Neil0

My costs are
BT line rental £11
Euro1net 1mb unlimited broadband £10 per month (free connection, two year deal)
Primus/1899 combo calls £1 to £2 a month, including odd international one
So for me the saving would probably be 20 to 30 pounds a year; wiped out by joining fee in first year. Anyone paying crazy broadband prices (£20 plus) can make a big saving though, but remember you will be paying a bit over the odds for mobile and 0845 0870 numbers. I think there will be an almighty battle to get hold of your phone line for all sorts of services in the future to sell you lots of other stuff (telly, video on demand etc). That is the only business model I can think of that would make it pay for the company long term. I would recommend sitting tight for a few months until the demand has calmed down. And NEVER believe 'forever' promises - they are just too stupid for words. It'll last as long as trading conditions allow or they'll push up the compulsory line rental price. Likewise lifetime guarantees - my Karimoor backpack had one until it was taken over by another company that decided not to honour it.

I have talk talk line rental and evening and weekend calls for 3.49 a month, I have just registered for 1899 and 18155 and they appear to be working ok,as several of my calls seem to be to mobile or 0870/0845 numbers. Will be interesting to see my bill next month, but if they don't have to allow it then I suppose they could pull the plug anytime.0 -
To those CPW employees, can I just confirm the following:
I am deaf in a hearing household, and sometimes I use make calls via my minicom/textphone. When I make calls, they go through BT as TT does not have the facility. Therefore my calls are on the BT bill and not TT. If we switch over to the new Broadband/int3 plan (we already are talk talk customers), does this cause a problem for my minicom calls, or do they simply get listed on the combined bill?
Hoping you know the answer to this, as we are very interested in the deal!0 -
i read something on the website for TT that they do a mobile service too with 3 sim cards for an extra 10 pounds per month does anyone have this as well as i might just march on over there and swap from bt and orange lol0
