    Hello everyone.

I feel I've been a lurker on here rather than a poster so just wanted to say a quick thank you to everyone for all your ideas and posts. All organised this end and feeling very Christmassy!!:j Busy two weeks coming up with school parties, nativities and concerts - it's great!!

Does anyone know when the Christmas Radio Times is out? I know it's sad but it's one of my highlights of Christmas!!

not sad at all. I have just read on a different thread about Christmas Traditions someone has put highlighting the programmes they want to watch in the Radio Times and i was sat agreeing with it. I can't wait for it to come out as it makes me feel it is nearly Christmas.

    Hiya!

I can confirm the Christmas Radio Times is out. :T I bought mine at lunchtime. Only wish I could've gone straight home to settle down for read of it rather than having to come back to work!

Hi everyone, sorry i've not been on for a few days been really busy.

Ooo amazon have annoyed me, held one of my pressesnts i ordered hostage for over a month, even though it said the dvd was in stock emailed to me to say that they no longer had any and they werent getting any others:mad: anyway I managed to find it 50p cheaper off another site and had an email to say its been dispatched. Hopefully arrive today or tomrrow and thats all the pressents arrived.

This week is going to be really christmassy for me, going to see that Nativity film tomorrow and going to the manchester christmas market on friday and off to the panto saturday afternoon!!!! Oooo I am really excited!!!!!!

    xXx

Oooo Shevs, I had that problem last month with Play.com!! Even though the item was said to be instock, they just never dispatched it and kept sayign it was out of stock!

Yep, can also confirm that it's out now!! Saw it in ASDA this morning, and had mine throught the letter box today!! Yeay!! Will be settling down to circle my viewing (well, ok, recording!) schedule for the Crimbo period!! One of my favourite Christmas traditions!!

Cough still there. Any suggestions for non-medicated ways of easing it?! So restricted in waht I can take being pregnant! Hubby picking up some soothers on the way home, so that should help a bit, but can't reall take anything stronger than that. So any home-made traditional remedies are very welcome.

I too have forgotten to mention Secret Santa. To who ever my secret santa is, thank you very much for my choices. Hubby has chosen something for me, and I can't wait to open it. If I don't post about it immediately over Christmas, I'm really sorry. It's likely that what with the baby due any time soon and the madness of Christmas itself, that I might forget a bit! Please don't think I don't appreciate it!! I'll post about it as soon as I remember, promsie!!

Havent caught up with the thread but if anyone has any ideas for 50 year old mum's presents PLEASE help! I am so stuck! she likes nothing ive done everything before, the photo album, the scrapbook, several hampers.... helpppp!!!

What does your mum like doing? Cooking? Sewing? Handicrafts? Beauty? Drinking? Partying? Homelover? Is she one her own or with a partner (short or long term)? Reasons for asking - I'm in my 50s and a long time married so there are certain 'sexy' things I'm not interested in, however my best mate is long term single and loves Anne Summers! I love cooking and I'm hoping Santa is going to bring me a steamer for xmas:p So if you could be a bit more specific perhaps we can really help.

    Hello all :j
Dear me............just when I think I'm done and all organised I find two more cards to do..........and today brain like a sieve  Went into town to get some ribbon to tie round a shoe box for my son..........ended up only getting half the length I wanted........... Luckily I found enough rooting through my tangled web of a ribbon box so at least his box is all tied up now. I've popped a cheque in for him inside a pair of 'Dad of the Year' socks.............:rotfl:so he'd best not discard them too soon. Put together some bits for grandsons christmas morning.......robin's breakfast, snowman done out of a coffee mate jar and filled with snowball chocolates (oh eck.........least I think it is  Best check on that one....................lol) Came across a little childs christmas hand towel in the charity shop this morning that just tops his box off nicely and stops the other stuff rattling about.
And thats about it for today..........so far anyway. Foster daughter wants to leave about 8am on Saturday to do Santa Run to my sons so I'll have to sort out stuff Friday night.............my brains no good in the morning:rotfl:
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
