  • Just wanted to say thank you to my Secret Santa. Hubby chose the mini/scrapbook kit. It was a brilliant choice as I have just started to card make again having given all my stash away at the beginning of the year so have to start all over again so this has been a brilliant addition. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. I am not supposed to be on here but just had to post to say a big thanks you

Glad Santa treated you all well :-) My Secret Santa present is a gorgeous silver bracelet with a heart shaped charm on it - its beautiful. I had seen a similar one in Next which my sister was giving me some vouchers towards so I have saved money as that one was £40 and also have extra to play with in the sales!

    Here is to 2010 xxx

Had a very relaxing stress free Christmas Day and Boxing day due to being so well prepared due to this thread!

    IT WORKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone loved their hampers, my brother was v.chuffed with his car washing one in a new bucket wrapped up in cello and a big bow and ribbon! The HM treats, pickles etc went down a storm too and my mum liked her pamper hamper and her bargain babyliss hairdryer which I bought in the summer!

Everyone loved their Christmas Eve Hampers and the baskets from Homebase which could double up as a magazine rack.

I said if anyone didn't want the baskets/boxes I would have them back to reuse - one basket returned! They wanted to keep the hamper baskets and hat boxes to reuse which is fine and the retro sweet jars (filled with chocolate eclairs) also went down a treat too!.

The turkey was delish from Exmoor foods and nice and convienent in a crown and quick to cook.

    Leftovers for tonight!

Looks like this thread helped me so much from the summer that I'll be jumping on board straight away again for 2010!

What can I say, what a humungous help and effort and was an equally humungous result! I came in on budget for all the pressies with careful shopping too! All ready early with no last minute rushing too!

    Hello all :j
    Had a super Christmas - loved pressies.............:T
OH -despite being told not to bother to get me anything -had been to local craft shop and got me a complete scrap book kit..............brilliant ! Family scrapbooks for the whole family next year..............had lovely day with foster daughter - feel worn out today (must be not used to having fun..............lol)
Slight panic stations today............leak under kitchen sink from one of the taps...........well I pay in Home serve policy and yet to use it so today I did..............plumber chappie just been and fixed it..........noticed the other one's a bit 'iffy' and will be back Tuesday to sort it:T
So...............now getting ready for next year.............but must draw up some sort of time table so I get things done and don't have any last minute panic.
Have covered notebook ready for next years Journal.......this years filled up so much.......worth doing another but just hope I have better things to fill it with.
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
