We had a fab time at the panto, thou couldn't see dds ballet teacher ( think it was a ploy so she could go twice!)
It was brilliant, got the bloke who played Matthew King in Emmerdale, so funny one sketch there pratting around with mops, and his hook came off, he then put it on the wrong hand!!
Dad picked us up, ok, half way from home, I was looking in the shop windows xmas displays.....next thing... emergency stop, some idiot had came out of a turning without looking and nearly went into the side of the car, course based on previous history (4 car accidents, which 2 were right offs, serious bus accident) not the best passenger, and I automatically put my rht hand onto the dash board to hold on........ the driver stopped, luckly as dad had done the emergency and nearly mounted the pavement, we got out of the car to check, no impact on either....... but an a+e visit for me.
Good news, not broke anything -
Bad news - I've strained my wrist, shoulder, collar bone and neck, now have to have my arm in a sling for 2 weeks.....
very partical....... off on the Orient Express at 1pm.... it was going to be green dress, with a black leaf print (£120 reduced to £18 last xmas), Green jacket (what wore last yr with skirt + top), but it hurts to put my shoulder through anything, so plan B, long length peach dress with flower print, (had it made in Gambia back in 2005), got to find black lace cardi, as the tattoos don't quite go with the Orinet Express....
Best bit!! the woman who it was, is involved with dds school, so couldn't say much......
xx
so glad I don't have to write this, I'm right handed - done my rgt side in!
Def can be money saving as I can't drive, so dad has to drive, use his petrol!!xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Morning Everyone
Spent most of yesterday out in the snow sledging and throwing snowballs at the kids lol....(only manged to hit them a couple of time but they got me and OH loads) The Dog had loads of fun too, pinching the body of the snowman the kids were making and rolling it round the garden like a football.
Also finished off the pots of Gold with the little one and made party hats with both for christmas day, so now i can put all the craft stuff away and make the kitchen table look tidy.
Plan for today, well not sure yet as don't know if kids are going into school, and not sure if the roads will be ok to drive on so I'm winging it, am I glad I have everything bought and done or I would be in so much trouble.
Have a great day everyone and take care on the roads if you have to go out.
Sarah

Done the food shop! (Braved the snowed over road finally as I'd been stuck in since Thursday)
Over an hour in Tesco with two toddlers, no trolleys with 2 seats so eldest had to walk which meant I spent most of the time stopping him walking into things/being hit by trolleys... but they were both amazingly well behaved and I got everything apart from Redcurrant jelly...
Spent £100 in Tesco and £40 in Lidl which is twice our normal weekly food bill but I did manage to get food to do some meals other than xmas dinner, which is a first as usually I forget to. Also remembered nappies and wipes!
Knackered now so we're having a Lidl lasagne with garlic bread for dinner as I can't be bothered cooking.
Picked up parcels from sorting office that had been there since Wednesday, presents from my ex step mother and mine and oh's "naughty pressie" heehee
Got to wrap the boys presents from my Dad but everything else is done and under the tree!
Should probably start on some housework before the hoards decend... (off to Flylady for some inspiration)June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

3/4 of the food shop done today first thing in the morning and the same again tomorrow to finish off then that's it apart from some milk on Wed
Used the 42.50 vouchers from surveys so spent only £35 in the supermarket today which was great. Spent £22 on booze on offer and then some pop on offer and some feta on offer to make into food gifts. Just some staples and meat left to get and some bits to go into the food hamper.
Will be pleased when all the food shopping is done and dusted!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
mum2one - sorry to hear about your mishap...........take it easy now and does this get you out of any washing up/household chore type stuff ??? (has to be a plus side doesn't there?)
Well, managed to deliver stuff to my son and his family..........what a start to the day..........got stuck on roads/traffic/snow first part of journey (by now son was waiting at service station and getting grumpier by the minute!) Plodded on.........water froze so windscreen was filthy with spray from other cars so had to keep stopping to clear it................took wrong turning and ended up in the middle of Peterborough not quite knowing how to get out..............eventually found little pub in a village.........rang son and they found their way to us there so we had quite a nice afternoon. Teenage grandkids came too -that was a surprise as son said they weren't coming................pressies exchanged and home we were bound........then I get frantic phone call from OH...........what was plumbers phone number ? Leaky radiator........and lad we look after throwing a wobbled about something and nothing -in the process breaking three light fittings upstairs !!! Not much I could do miles away from home,..................got back quicker than we went than goodness..............rang plumber (why didn't OH phone him ???) he's flat out with people who's heatings packed up.........said radiator is plugged up with blu tak and stuff and ok for now (I think) so he says to keep an eye.......if it leaks any more let him know...........its an upstairs one so bit worrying if it does leak  OH said he'll check light fittings tomorrow when its lighter (loo light is only light working at the minute -and our bedroom). Think its a case of changing the plastic light bulb fittings..............(she says hopefully)
Oh doesn't it make you want to say 'bah humbug' and why does something always go wrong at Christmas ???
Oh well, must accept that it does and deal with it as best we can.
Lad we look after came back after storming out........tail between his legs and cooked us dinner (sausage egg and frozen chips) to make up for his out burst earlier.
Ho hum..................it's christmas !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
