Congratulations Clare and welcome to Bethan! Have a lovely Christmas too with your new arrival!

Thanks for starting the new thread ideas too M2O, it has helped me so much this year stick sensibly to a budget and get into the Christmas spirit for the first time in a few years!

Off to do some Christmas baking this afternoon, visit mum with cards and Christmas Eve Hampers tomorrow and then all cards and bits are done and dusted.

Then finalise shopping list and get the final bits together alongside finishing the cake off, wrapping the final hampers (did my brothers car hamper and it looks great!) and finish off the last bit of the food gifts ready for the big day.

Planning to make a casserole too for Christmas Eve to reheat so is nice and easy instead of stressing and then all is done

Better get a shuffle on then!

Catch up with you all later on x

I haven't posted my Christmas cards! Meant to do it thursday but then I was ill and of course it's been snow ever since. Oh dear, will have to do it Monday and just hope. Our postman made it here this morning, much to my surprise as it's still a goof 6 inches deep here in places. My brother's a postie in Brighton and the health and safety guy wouldn't let them out yesterday, they spent 5 hours in the depo doing nothing.

Kids are with their Auntie until tomorrow morning, all I've done so far is watch tv, have a nap and wash my hair. Really should finish the last of the wrapping, do meal plan for rest of next week and make some mince pies...
OH is outside sweeping snow off the cars so he can go get me some milk - haven't had a cup of tea yet today, prob why I'm still in my PJs

    Hello all :j
We had more snow last night and it hasn't shifted all day - roads very dodgy so I'm glad trip to sons was abandoned. Just hope its clear by Monday so I can meet them at Peterborough -half way point at the service station - swap stuff over, quick coffee and home.
Then OH is talking about going to skegness on Tuesday -it'll be like the arctic  Is he mad ? Or desparate to replace the blu tak he's using to cushion his specs................:rotfl: Both I think..................lol
Not done much all day except make another card for MIL (she didn't receive the first one!) and do a little notebook for girl who hoovers..........trying to make a little bag of bits for her and running out of ideas........
    Hope you've had a good day:rolleyes:

Sorry to hear about your gallstones.............could no-one give you any idea of the waiting list time ? If not, push your GP to get them sorted.

The small monster is now over 7kg and a very happy baby, the husband is finally out of hospital and much healthier, and I am hoping Christmas passes without too much in the way of family arguments and planning to get most of Christmas 2010 organised before the New Year :o
