A few people may already know me as I have been active on a few threads.

Let me introduce you to my thoughts behind this thread

• This thread is for anyone to come and say hi, post your thoughts,
• comments and chat how your christmas planning is coming on,
• Its not just Christmas, Birthdays and any other ocassion is covered
• Setting a Santas Challenge on 24th of each Month, as Santa visits us on 24th December
• Crafts from card making, presents, hampers
• mini challenges througout the month- from the lovely Elf - Chocolate Orange
• Hows your christmas shopping coming on,
• People to buy for
• If your stuck for ideas, post and I'm sure someone will help
• When the sales start
• Bargains on HalfCost (I'm totally addicted)
• Also touching on money neutral of the christmas presents,
• Will say there is a brilliant thread started by Jamtart6, where we aim to be money neutral, by making money, surveys, cash back sites, how organised we are
• Most of all haveing great support from old and new friends

This thread is open to all, espically those Christmas fanatics among us, dont be shy come and say hi.

For Santa's challenges, they will be set on the 24th, all be Christmas themed, some of the challenges you may of done, then let us know how your getting on, some you might say "I dont fancy that", no problem, we don't mind, there be there to help us all have an organised xmas, and a stress free one,

So come Christmas eve when everyone is running round like a headless chick, we can sit back, put our feet up, watch a xmas dvd!! and smile and say we did it.

There is an American company Organized for Chriatmas (on website) they do 3 sets of Christmas planning, but as its American there plannings rather different from ours, so part of our Santas Challenge will relate to organising,

Santas July Challenge - Headstart this month only

I know its not the 24th but as need a couple of things get them ready

If everyone could grab a A4 folder, (Tesco value does the job if you haven't got a spare to hand) and a cheap set of dividers, and a small note pad.

Bit like Blue Peter - heres one I prepared earlier.
All will be revealed on the 24th xxx

I will help with setting a few fun craft challenges and little ones that help to save you a few important pounds ( or pennies)


The craft challenges will run at the start of the month until 21st and then you have a week to show us your craftiness

Hi mum2one and chocolate.orange what a fantastic idea. I'd love to join you all, I especially like that you added "you may not fancy all the challenges" as I think this will apply to me as I don't have much crafting to do and not many to buy for and think this will be perfect for me.

:jOhhhhhh I'm all excited now. I have my Tesco Value folder and diveider already and waiting for my crisp new printouts of the OC website( not printing them all off this year as some I didn't use) and I have tons of dividers spare so can I use the same file?? or will a I need 2??


Oh I really am all excited now, mini challenges and Santa challenges this really is going to keep me on my toes and get me motivated to be super organised for Xmas 09:j

hi all I am now onto my 3rd Christmas thread on here!!!

I think I will have to chooses just one to stick with as I can't possibly cope with keeping up to date with 3 and reading and posting on them!

This all sounds very exciting with challenges and Rudolph day still so I will look forward to seeing what you guys do next!

hi can I join please? I might stand a chance of following if i start at the beginning! I like the idea of a challenge every month and will help get me organised. I follow the thrifty thread but am saving for my summer hols at the moment so Christmas won't be money neutral. I do however look for bargains and buy throughout the year. I will go and buy my folder and dividers once ds2 is back at school - he is off with shingles at the moment. Looking forward to the 24th!!
