I managed to wrap up one present before i fell asleep which is my Godsons lightening MQueen underwear (he loves disney cars lightening mqueen) and i love the disney cars xmas wrap i brought for 99p good quality ,wrapped his underwear a treat!
Also some thing else i brought last week a mini desk tape dispenser comes with 4 refills from poundland and is serving me brilliantly. Makes one hand wrapping easier! Usually i cop wrapping presents because i am not that good with it but this has made it 100 X easier. worth the pound. Not sure how i can earn money until i get paid on the 23rd! And i still have quite a fair bit to get!
Where is the best place for nice (but small) selection box's as with the few pounds i have left I want to add these to the children's presents.
Thanks xxNanMias - cyber granddaughter!

I bought one of these (I LOVE my stationary) and it was great, the first time I used it. Since then it has started to leak the sand stuff that weights it down and has made a mess all over my dressing table!
Word of warning, be very gentle with it and keep upright!
My parents asked what I wanted them to contribute to xmas (since they are coming here for dinner) so I said to Dad he can buy the crackers (was going to make them but didn't get around to it) and that I want posh ones! Asked Mum to make the pigs in blankets as she made lovely ones last year, she was actually really flattered so win/win there lol. Seems a bit mean I'm making her bring the one thing she won't eat (she's veggie!) but she was so pleased that everyone loved them!
Think that's all I'll ask of them as they are more skint than us and a LOT less organised so they are already panicking about presents for all of us. I told Dad the kids will have so many toys anyway not to worry about them, just get something cheap and expendible. Told Mum I'd like purple nail varnish (should only be about a fiver). Thing is they know I've bought them a big present this year (thanks OH!) and I've already got it - Duvet, pillows and a duvet cover set. Theirs are so old, they never spend money on things like that so I thought I'd treat them.June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

Just a thought re make up, boots no 7 have got an offer on, spend over £6.00, get a free boxed set, purple nail polish, black (think) mascara, and a silver eyeshadow, I got lipstick + blusher for just under £7.00.
Pink fluffy, try argos, just put pink fluffy in search box, together + seperate, there give you a good selection.
Theres a lot of bargains at the mo, worth looking online, esp as a new batch of sale items start 2mor xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
The tree is up!!!! Yay!!!! Had a call from OH yesterday while I was at work, he was frantically searching for the decorations in the attic, where had I put them and all that. We searched for them when I got home and turns out the electricians who were up there recently doing our new lights had tucked that particular box in the most out of the way place!
But anyway, we found them and had great fun with our DSs putting the tree up and decorating it. I find it hilarious cos I like to let the boys put things wherever they like on the tree, but DH likes it to look nice, so he's always moving things, going on 'don't put all the green ones together, look, spread them out like this...'. Lovely to see the lights twinkling and boys love it.
Rufusdog I'm sending you a great big hug, must be very difficult for you at the moment. Try to keep positive. {{{hugs}}}0 -

A couple of suggestions jammy,
Dressing gown/nightie or pjs and slippers (Peacocks/Home Bargains (mega cheap and good quality) or Primarni or Mr A) alongside a new alarm clock or travel alarm and if feeling flush or budget allows a DAB one- I used my lightspeed voucher to half the price from Amazon for a Pure one.
Food hamper - tins of ham/red salmon/cheese/pickles/crackers/picalili or a Christmas cake, nice tin of discounted biscuits from the supermarkets, box of chocolates or nuts or substitute anything else she likes to eat which is treaty and can last a bit longer.
Hope to helpI know how hard they can be to buy for. I have made a homemade hamper for my mum after I gave her a jar of HM chutney last year which she loved and will pop a bottle of wine in there too. If she liked tea I would be tempted to buy some bits from Home Bargains as they had some great tea set items from the Love to Shop range last time I was in there
