Add another one on, (found this on the discounts voucher board), but didn't want to post till I had brought from them.

Really great service, I had the earrings within 5 days of ordering, and they were in a really nice gift box, (not the argosssss cardboard boxes,..... but similar to a good quality ring box)

I brough dd the thread through horses, after the discount I paid £3.00 very impressed, there now in no 24 of her advent calender. xx

PS - DOES HELP IF i PUT THE INFO ON...

£5 off any order, of any value at jewellery.tv. Use code 5POUND9874D at http://www.jewellery.tv/ Got some lovely little Christmas presents from here last year

Just tried this code and it won't work  EDIT - silly me, that's cos it's expired!
Was going to get a pair of earrings for MIL as I really can't find her present anywhere!

Wrote some more xmas cards last night. Need to get a nice photo of the boys so I can put it in the 3 photo cards I have, plus stick a few in the ones for
    other relatives.
I'm only sending cards to relatives and giving them to OH's customers, not giving any out to people I'll see as i don't see the point.

Bought some Shloer as it's BOGOF in Tesco so put that away for xmas.

Need to start making bits of xmas dinner soon...

    Hiya
Haven’t been online for a few days as ive been full of cold, haven’t had the energy to do much at all. On the plus side DH felt sorry for me and put my Christmas tree and decorations up so that cheered me up alot :j

    SANTAS CHALLENGE

    HAVE THE CONVERSATION –
Well its just me, DH, mam and dad. This is our first Christmas without Grandad so am trying to keep an eye on mam, boring her with little things to keep her mind occupied.

    MAKE YOUR OWN ADVENT CALENDER
Ive got Calendar sheets on the fridge – 1) delivery dates for rest of internet orders, 2) menu plan, 3) post dates, days out etc. 4)pay days, bill days, etc. Most importantly its my DH birthday on 18th December . :D

    STOCK UP
Ive been putting things away since September, spare loo rolls, kitchen rolls, batteries etc

    MEAL PLAN –
Ive done meal plan right up to January 8th, ive got Chilli and Bolognese in the freezer for the days I know we are busy

    MOST IMPORTANTLY – DELEGATE
DH has posted the cards to Poole already – Leicester is ready to post
Mam and Dad – Hand deliver most of my cards for family

    CHRISTMAS EVE HAMPER
Have made a Christmas eve hamper for me and Dh, we have new PJS, bottle of diet coke (we don’t drink a lot of alcohol), chocolate orange and Doritos and a Frankie Boyle dvd.

    ADVENT CALENDERS
My friend got my 2 doggy babies there advent calendars at the metro centre yesterday, they don’t like doggy chocolate so they need the advent calendars with the chews in.

    CHRISTMAS MENU
Mam always makes Christmas dinner and gets offended when I offer to pay for anything, so weve compromised and me and DH are paying for a takeaway on Christmas eve

    SPARE PRESENTS

I have a couple of spare pressies and intend to make a few extra snowman soups and poops for just incase pressies

    START PLANNING FOR NEXT YEAR
I intend to begin my planning the day after boxing day (don’t tell my DH), as ive really enjoyed being organised and am so glad I don’t need to buy anymore pressies this year.

Even though I am more organised than I have ever been in my life, I am still totally freaked out that it is December on Tuesday

Hugs to everybody who needs them and hope everyone is excited for December :p

mum2one -thanks for the 'grabitnow' link.............tempting but there are few things there I wouldn't know who to give to:confused: Might wait till tomorrow -looks like they do new lot every day.......is that right ?

Mrsow - sympathise with the bad cold and feeling c**p -been much like that myself..............wish these antibiotics doctor gave me would really kick in and work a miracle.............still I slept better last night and not coughed and sneezed so much today so maybe they are.
I just dread going to bed in case I start hacking away and keeping OH awake.

Finished off (well nearly) my little 'primitive' hearts/stars and tree garland thing to drape across the dresser. Going to space them out with corks covered in ribbon ............taken me an age to get a hole right through the cork -well they're not proper corks............tried corkscrew and the handle came off.........now it's stuck....... I've yet to break that bit of news to OH...................lol

Not I'm going to have a look for some track suit bottoms and pyjamas for OH...............we've one little shop in town that might sell them but not certain..............want him to look decent if he has to go to hospital.
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

The grabbit offers they change daily, I got my box from last sunday, guessing that its a sunday they do that 20 offer. Theres a few bits we've not used but put them in xmas presents, +couple up for bday, so got the value out of them.
I would say they quote them as worth £164.00 no way - we estimated at £70.00, we still saved.

Def agree re trackie bottoms for oh, hospitals are quite warm and sitting around he'll want something comfy, don't know if you've go a peacocks / store 21 / qs / matlan nearby, you can't go wrong with there prices.

Hope everything goes ok, keep fingers crossed, and send lots of love xx

mum2one - matalan is miles away - there is a Peacocks in another town where OH first saw his consultant (little hospital there and sometimes they see outpatients and do xrays) so there's a chance we could get something there. Saw some nice pyjamas on 'next' website but both pair came to nearly £40:eek: On top of that he needs some track suit bottoms anyway...........wears them for loafing about the house and the ones he's got are an embarassment
Told him about the pyjamas but he said he want to get Tuesday out the way first (should get his result then) not that it makes any difference, he's going to need them anyway.Still, thats men for you..............lol

How about ordering from George/tesco? how long do you have?
    George have things like http://direct.asda.com/george/men-s-clothing/nightwear/pyjama-set/GEM27185,default,pd.html
    http://direct.asda.com/george/men-s-clothing/nightwear/pyjama-bottoms/lounge-pyjama-bottoms/GEM16054,default,pd.html
    http://direct.asda.com/george/men-s-clothing/trousers-and-shorts/jogging-bottoms/GEM25417,default,pd.html
    Tesco http://www.clothingattesco.com/men/nightwear/icat/mens-nightwear

a lot cheaper than next, especially if (hopefully) he turns out not to need them much.

Don't worry mum2One, was great of you to post in the first place, my fault I took so long to check it out lol. I should have gone to the grabbit board then and looked at the OP for an exp date

Just ordered a few DVDs for my kids for xmas (using amazon dooyoo voucher) as OH has sat and watched IceAge with them today to test to see if they are ready for watching films yet! Not really lol but they did better than I expected for a 2 and 3 year old!

ragz - thanks. Our tesco doesn't have anything like that -don't know why I didn't look on-line at them.
Don't know how long we've got as he doesn't get results till Tuesday and expect another appt. will follow to explain things to us before he gets admitted, Hopefully the result will be an 'ok' one and hospital stay won't be for long I hope.
