Thanks all. I'm doing fine. Lovely swollen bits on the back of my knee/thigh which is currently numb to the touch, but like I say could be worse! Poor hubby was beside himself. Seems to have relaxed a bit today though. Bless im.
Thanks again though!

Thank goodness you are ok Clare - a lucky escape it seems -phew!
Dessert wise for Christmas, as we are not fans of Xmas Pudding due to being too full we like a meringue style dessert.
In M+S they have quite a few frozen desserts on BOGOF lemon roulade, toffee and pecan roulade, raspberry and mascapone roulade all £3.99. Then for £4.99 raspberry pavolva, blackforest gateau (for retro fans!), eton mess and a profiterole dessert. Any combination is BOGOF and all have long freezer dates on into next year. Might have missed some out as I can't remember them but the roulades look lovely!
Tucked into the freezer is a lemon roulade and the raspberry pavlova ready for Christmas and beyond! Not bad for £4.99final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Hi all - Its taken me a while to catch up with the thread. Ive totally lost my santas challenge post so have No idea what it was, but I know I am on a decluttering mission.
I emptied my Littleones room of toys, put them into boxes downstairs in the living room which we are going to go through this weekend. Only what he is keeping is going back in!
Similarly, my room and the spare room have been gutted - there is nothing on the floors or under the beds that doesnt belong.
Now I have to go through the wardrobes and the drawers and start decluttering from there! And I need to start listing stuff on Ebay - its taking over the house! But its sooooooooo time consuming! Grr! I know what will happen - I will end up bagging it all and taking it to the charity shop, which is frustrating cos I could use the extra cash! MUST DO IT! MUST DO IT!!
Anwyay, I just want to also say, Hugs for Mary-Op, Cheeky and DD, Fedup, and Clare!
OMG!!
At least you and bump are ok - but make sure you stay that way!Sometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying

I know Jo it is mega mind numbing to list loads but once it's on it's on!
I have done a stack this year and can finally see some space in the spare stash it all room!
Have a load of clothes to list but haven't got round to it yet - must have a go this weekend and have mind numbing afternoon! Then the ebay listing is nearly over and done with for a month or so!
Thanks for reminding me about this as I keep putting it off!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Hello all
cdsmiler - hope you're ok s.a.p..............make the most of your 'rest' time with christmas stuff.......:j
You all sound so busy.............I was worn out after yesterdays 'comp. room clear up' !! Sign of the years I expect. Young girl came to run around with Henry and mop the kitchen floor.............next week she's going to help me sort out my 'santas grotto' upstairs...........it's starting to get a bit on the 'messy' side (putting it mildy) and becoming a 'shove it in there' kind of room......................lol
So all I've done today is cut some pictures out of a book I'd bought for that purpose.............lovely rustic type they are and I thought they'd make nice notelets -for me :j
OH not so good today but he's had a lie down and about to cook dinner -afternoons always seem the worst for him plus worrying never helps does it.
Just heard from another foster girl we looked after.......she always keeps in touch but we never buy xmas presents.............till now it seems -she's getting something for us so I'll have to see what I can fill a shoe box with................lol I've got a spare one and some bits I made too many of so I'm sure I can fill it up for her.
:jI would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

My DH raves about his, apparently it used to be a Saturday morning show with hot Auzzie girls in tight jeans bouncing around cheerfully. Supposedly this was for the kids' benefit:rolleyes:
He was dissapointed to find the other day that it has changed rather a lot, otherwise I'd get him tickets jsut for a :rotfl:June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

Ahh cdsmiler - hope you ok, must have been awful, hope you have your feet up and watching christmas films...I'm supposed to be resting but I've got the nesting bug I think!! just 4 days left but dd came early so could be any time now - I hope.
Managed to get dd the barbie miette cat in the sainsbury sale so got a bargain there - wasn't going to get it but the saving was so great, from 70 to 35 and I think she is getting spoilt this christmas what with the broken arm and everything. Her main pressie is a dolls house, she has one already so we have to go bigger and better so am going for a 4ft one we've seen that takes barbie sized dolls, found one for 85 pounds on amazon but I have 40 amazon vouchers sitting here so will only need 45 cash :-) So just got to get operation the game with my argos or tesco vouchers and I'm done.
My husband isn't getting much cos he wants to get a tattoo before christmas but then he's just gone and asked for some jean paul gautier after shave - and it's so expensive...will have to start looking around for some on sale somewhere?? or the cheapest option!!?? don't want to pay 35pounds for it!
Still got lots to do but will have plenty of time once babys here for wrapping and making tags (I hope)
Bought a pack of ten christmas boxes in home bargains the other day and when I got them home they were all lids!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 99p wasted.
Also bought a christmas craft pack for the bairn, ooh it's getting exciting.
Right that's it gonna go and dig out elf and watch that this morning with daughter - see if she'll watch it with me!!!???0 -
Please can someone make sure that this gets passed on to lady doing csi hamper. The fingerprint kit csi one has been recalled at homebargains just in case she bought one many thanks0

Have just been up and wrapped Oh's dvds, not sure whether to get a gift bag fro them or a box.
Have also wrapped up daughters presents, done all the things that go together in the same wrapping paper so I can get some bags next week and will know which is which.
Still have some other presents to wrap up but they are hand knitted cardigans and I think if I wrap them now the paper might tear easily so will leave them for now.
Trouble is I am getting bored now. Have finished just about everything and can't start on next quilt until I can get to the fabric shop to get some more fabric. Still we are going out tonight as its my older daughters birthday Tuesday so meeting her and her friends.0
