Just registered through doteasy.com - $12 for one year as I have used in the past and seem efficient. Just hope it is not waiting in a queue as I am hoping to make some money from the URL long-term.0

Its a true story, but wasn't from this morning, they did this back in march (See Here - 3m24s they missed out)0 -
I used thename.com. Charged 10 squid flat rate.
Got geminitechnology.eu and hajjandumrah.eu.0 -

When you say nothing happened, did you recieve an email confirmation.
What time this morning?0 -
with 123-reg I'm now able to login and order an .eu domain (with no mention of a pre-register).
But their status log hasn't been updated since 1pm:Fri Apr 7 13:30:47 2006
With the release of the .eu suffix, 123-reg, OpenSRS and Eurid are overwhelmed with the current demand to register these domains.
Therefore 123-reg are holding back on the release of general registrations for .eu domains via the 123-reg Control Panel, this is to allow us to process all the pre-registrations we have received.
The general availability to register .eu domains via the 123-reg Control Panel will be available later next week (10th April - 14th April).0 -
On two different domains I've noticed that godaddy has said that they were available but easily.co.uk and 1and1.co.uk have said that they were already taken.0

ah...thanks - wish I had read this thread a bit more now rather than diving straight in. Have just registered one of the domains that was 'available' on godaddy but was registered elsewhere. Geektools says "application pending" so it looks like i won't be getting it and have wasted my time with godaddy. Hope they refund fully...0 -
is there aynway if you want a domain to be able to buy it if somene doesnt want to sell eg put a hold on it if the lease runs out etc tanks0

I have a domain already that I bought through 1and1. When I use WHOIS for the origional .me.uk domain it shows up as 1and1 who registered it.
However when I do the new .eu domain it shows up as Ibercon who registered it. Any thoughts.0
