I am so angry once again with this company.
I've arranged parcel collections for them never to collected & then be cancelled without my permission. I've had parcels never to be received. Couriers apparently attempt delivery but its funny that they never knocked on my door!!! I've had things thrown over my fence despite this funnily enough not been advised as a 'safe place'. I've now had 3 products broken because of their bad handling. And one of them they disposed of without my permission or even contacting me about the issue!!!:mad:

I've been waiting for a parcel from a new supplier to be delivered from the Midlands. He booked it on the 23rd - it appeared on their tracking system as "awaiting collection" at 0520 on the 24th. They collected at at 1730 on the 25th, and ever since then the online status has been "collected by courier" - hasn't even made it to the senders local Hermes depot yet. I've advised him to have a look elsewhere - Interparcel for instance - he went to the effort to pack and arrange my delivery in a matter of hours - now he's being badly let down I reckon.

Ive been using myhermes drop off points for about 3-4 years now for my ebay business and ive never had any problems with them, i trade in glassware and nothing has been delivered damaged

Ive only ever booked through parcels2go and not directly from them.

I've been using them for years too and only ever had one issue with a lost item, which turned up eventually.

I always use the drop off service too so don't have to hang around all day.

I'm finding them super fast at the moment, stuff dropped off Friday afternoon arrived Monday.

I'm selling mainly china at the moment but am wrapping them bomb proof. A few weeks back when I was dropping off some parcels the collection van was there to take them away. Another person who was dropping off an item went absolutely white when he saw the delivery man open his sacks and drop the items in from counter height. I have seen flimsy Jiffy bags dropped off that rattle and clang but have 'fragile' stickers all over them.

  • DONT GET TEMPTED BY THE PRICE. I want to send a parcel by Myhermes. Paid online on the 1st july 2014 it was placed outside for colection and has sat there since, it is now the 7th July 2014. When it wasnt collected on the 2nd I used the webchat and have done every day so far, word of advise DONT BOTHER its staffed by poeple that work from a set phrase book all they are there for is to waste your time. YOU WILL GET NOWHERE. If I run my business like this shower I would have been gone years ago. So just to recap if your thinking of using these cowboys -DONT. It seems in my case it would have been quicker for me to walk with the parcel. I am disgusted.

Only time that a collection was missed was when my normal courier was away. The replacement courier turned up the next day very apologetic. You can drop items off at parcel shop even if you choose collection. I have done this in the past accidently and there has been no problems. If the courier is not turning up for whatever reason then this may be easier for you.

As you have joined to have a moan, I doubt you will be back to answer this, but why did you leave the parcel outside?

I have an arrangement with Myhermes lady where I leave all my parcels in the porch-which is not locked-we do live in a fairly crime free rural quiet area.
She usually collects before 10am, I go to work at 8am.

I have nothing but praise for her, I'm on first name terms, we have each other's mobile numbers (purely business), and she has offered I can drop off parcels at her house if necessary (one time forgot to put parcel in porch, and took it to her house later-after she rang me to see where it was)

I know my trouble may be what happens after it leaves her, but saying that I have never had a parcel which has been lost either.

I made my order on 2nd. July. I was sent a tracking number for myHermes on 3rd. As the tracking status had not changed by 7th, I rang Here for a Pound (HFAP). I was told that they had received a delivery order and therefore mine was late, but it would be with me today (Thurs 10th). The tracking message changed to 'attempt redelivery' today, but I had been in all day. The telephone number for myHermes is not theirs but a finance company. I tried the webchat. It is hosted abroad and I was not understood. I rang HFAP and told a man there the situation. He rang myHermes and was told that the courier had been, but did not knock the door as there was 'restricted access.' I live in a flat, so he could only access my door via an intercom system, which is in plain sight. I have no doubt that this courier has not been near my home. HFAP have sent a voucher for £2 for the inconvenience, but if the order does not arrive tomorrow, they will lose their order, a customer and I shall seek compensation.
