  • I have used them for the last couple of year either through Interparcel or direct and never had a problem with them and I will be using them again later in the week.
The only time I have had a problem was with DHL who couldn't get 50 meters down a street which had a slight bit of snow on it (everyone else could get down) but I drive my truck past their depot every day so I rang and dropped them off :) Never had a lost parcel with a courier RM on the other hand............

  • I was always wary of myhermes due to the usual scare stories you see on here, but since I switched to them from royal mail (when they put their prices up for small parcels) I have never looked back and not had ONE problem in year. They are great in my experience.
  • I use myhermes all the time and have only had a problem once with an item that wasnt initially delivered cos the courier at the other end was too dopy to find the address in a business park ( relied too much on his satnav)
as most couriers are free lance it varies but as I say Im more than happy with them - and they are by far cheaper than RM

Anyone know if Hermes site is playing up or its just my end.

Maybe they don't want orders while they clear backlog caused by weather.

Same here - avoided Hermes for years and used Collect Plus.

Then collect plus increased prices, as did royal mail - and now over 100 succesfull transactions with hermes :)

Collect Plus keep offering 10/15% off to get me back - but still more than Hermes.
  • Recently had a parcel from MyHermes.

100% Praise for the delivery lady, we probably get 2-3 parcels a week via her.

0% Praise for how to get in touch with them, we went away for a week to find 3x cards through the door and the fear that the parcel will be returned to the seller. Unlike Royal Mail it will sit in town till I collect it. Luckily enough, she popped around again but the parcel had a re-delivery sticker on it so unsure if she was paid twice. If she left a working number, I would of been happy to collect from her house.

My only real gripe with MYhermes is the fact that they do not update their shop lists on site. My local one that I used to use is now an internet cafe and do not handle the parcels- yet it still shows. My next local one no longer takes them and the one that does is actually on the same street but with a different name to that shown by MyHermes.

So I would urge anyone planning to use them to check that their local shop is actually still an agent- MyHermes seem to prefer to show lots and lots of shops rather than admit the numbers are perhaps dwindling a bit.

Never send a parcel with them, as Royal Mail were the same price. So I chose them. :)

Unfortunately many of my items need quite a lot of packing as they are delicate and as soon as they exceed the small packet rate it is cheaper for me to use MyHermes. I also sold some very heavy metal items recently, the weight that time exceeded 2kg so MyHermes were cheaper despite the size.

Despite saying never again, I have now sent three parcels with Hermes. Two arrived within 48 hours and I paid for a delivery text, so knew they were there. Just waiting for confirmation on one sent on Tuesday. No problems so far.

Have a parcel today which is going to the Highlands, and Parcelforce 48 is cheaper than Hermes so using them today.
