    I don't know, guys, why are u talking so abominable things about this myHermes company. But, one week ago I've tried to use their service.
    All I can say - brilliant. All delivered on time. Therefore, most likely bad reviews are goes occasionally.
    I was pleased, especially since the prices are very pleasantly.

    Nothing but praise for MyHermes. They always collect on time. The regular guy who picks up gave me his mobile number and said if I needed to nip out when I had a pickup due to ring him to check his estimated time of arrival. He's even been sat outside waiting to pickup when we've been out as he knows roughly what time we'll be home.

    It’s my first time here and I have actually registered to give a step to step scenario of the service I received from my hermes/parcelforce

    Friday Morning, 14th Oct 2011 – booked a collection service with myhermes
    Friday Mid day, 14th Oct 2011 – Read a lot of BAAAAD reviews about my hermes delivery so decided to upgrade to parcel force (paid the difference)
    So for me my service is now booked with parcel force and not my hermes delivery

    Monday Morning, 17th Oct 2011 – Got a call at work that myhermes has come to collect my parcel was so furious and called the agency and they said sorry there is nothing they can do.
    I told them I hate hermes because of the reviews I had read bla bla bla..well it’s out of their hands now …so I just had to hope all goes well.

    Monday Morning, 17th Oct 2011 – Got a call from parcel force that they could not come and pick up my parcel today anymore …but told them well u no longer have to cos its been collected by hermes already

    Hermes delivers in 3-5 working days so was told Monday 24th Oct 2011 is the latest my parcel will be delivered
    Kept tracking my parcel by the hour

    Thursday Morning, 200th Oct 2011 – Got a text my parcel was delivered safe and sound

    So if you ask me, I will use my hermes delivery over and over and over again PLUS it was so worth it, I paid less than 6pounds for a 3kg parcel

    I ahve used this company for 2 years as i run a small business from home and have to say i cant fault them,out of all the packages only 2 ive had problems with,one was thrown about and the contents not where they should be,i was refunded the charges promptly so i could refund my buyer and the other was not collected on the day they allocated.other than that fab service,2 out of tonnes of parcels cant be bad
  • Generally i hear them to be good, maybe your situation is isolated. It will be interesting to hear other customers experiences.
  • Terrible service, they are polite and helpful in the call centre, maybe they should employ couriers that A/ turn up when 1st arranged (insted of making customers wait in all day) or B/ turn up when they say a 2nd time....seems to me this company is like a game of poker hit or miss....if you dont mind gambling or arent bothered about quality of service then these are your guys!! jokers :mad:

    Sorry to hear anyone has apparently had problems in the past - but I have received on-line deliveries by myHermes without any problems!

    So much so, that I am now trying them for deliveries myself. I will keep you all posted.

    I understand that they specialise with collection and delivery agents (idepenants) with specific high quality Local knowledge (you can't fault that for service).

    As for their prices - it's a 'no-brainer' - their prices 'win' hands-down.

    Could not be easier to arrange and pay for collections on-line.
    You can even select the day! (Check your Adobe Reader is up to date 10.1.1 - free from myHermes - and that you have a halfdecent printer for the shipping labels - and thats it!)

    They have been efficient, courtious and VERY COMPETATIVE.

    I have used Myhermes parcel collection and delivery service in the past. I placed order on Sunday, Parcel collected on following day and delivered by Thursday. NO problems!! I am Placing order again today. Shame some people are having problems but DON'T Slag-Off

    I stupidly went out on the 2nd November and missed a delivery from MyHermes the note through the door stated delivery will be re-attempted on 5th November, of course no attempt was made on the 5th so I called the mobile number on the delivery ticket.
    Mr West said that he had only covered my area on that day and that the parcel would have gone back to the depot...
    I then emailed Myhemes customer service after several emails I am still without a parcel and Myhermes will not talk to me because of contractual reasons, this is the email I get from them.

    Unfortunately because your parcel is from a retailer who we are delivering on behalf of we are unable, due to contractual reasons, to discuss this with you.
    Please contact the customer service team of the retailer whom you placed the order with and we assure you they will contact us on your behalf if necessary.

    I am a keen comper and quite often get competition prizes that I am not expecting, In this case I don't know who has sent the parcel so am unable to contact the retailer, the parcel seems to have disappeared into a void, has it been returned to sender/damaged/lost/stolen?
    Surely MyHermes contractual obligations are to deliver parcels so talking to the potential recipients is vital.
    Needless to say I will not be trusting MyHermes to send any parcels. :snow_laug
