Actually, you raise a good point. What about tickets that have been supplied? Does that fulfil the contract?

We are extremely sad to hear that one of music’s biggest legends has passed away. Michael Jackson had planned to stage a number of concerts in the UK and tickets for these concerts were available through eBay.
Effective immediately we are removing all live listings for Michael Jackson tickets, and blocking all new listings of them for the foreseeable future. This will also be the case for tickets listed as memorabilia.
We understand that buyers are keen to receive a refund due to the cancellation of the concerts. We recommend that in the first instance buyers contact sellers to request refunds. We strongly recommend to sellers that they refund the full purchase price of all tickets they have sold. We would also ask buyers to be patient and allow sellers time to process refund requests.
Any ticket purchases made during the last 45 days and paid for with PayPal will be covered by PayPal Buyer Protection. We are reviewing the options for those who bought tickets before May 13th and will update you shortly
    Regards,
    The eBay Team

    eBay are just too predictable....

All that can be done at the moment is wait for the official ebay announcement, although based on previous events it will be a case of "take it up with your seller or paypal"..

Was reading a website earlier that said tickets hadn't yet been printed.

they have been printed and sold out mate, unless certain venues had not been printed, some definately have been and marked up for that event over 100%, i heard there was even some touts trying a 1,000% mark up, not sure if its true.

Thanks for all this info, appreciated.

Long-term the tickets could be worth a wedge as memorabilia. IMHO, if buyers paid over face value for tickets from EBay/touts then caveat emptor.

I'm going to be fascinated in how this plays out. Personally I jusat don't get the whole ticket thing in general.

But are these tickets not "non transferable" anyway? Does this not then mean that buyers in the secondary market have acted in breach of the T&C's and as has been said caveat emptor with no comeback?
