The 45 day window is past and most are unable to claim via Paypal. The ideal thing would be for Ebay to do the refunds but i think the best thing to do is continue with the concerts and have them as a tribute to Michael. There will be far too many claims made, not just a few hundred so hopefully Ebay and Paypal take a back seat and do nothing.

Wait for the announcement but if all else fails you could try small claims against the seller. Many of the threads on ebay seem to suggest this could be a real way forward as the courts will just churn the decisions out.

I think this will be the first of many, many posts along the same line.

All that can be done at the moment is wait for the official ebay announcement, although based on previous events it will be a case of "take it up with your seller or paypal".

moneyclaim.gov.uk may be the only option for you now.

Churn the decisions out? What does that mean?

I assume from reading other forums that there will be hundreds of people going through the same thing and taking 3rd party sellers to small claims. It might get to be so common that it becomes a rubber stamped decision and the courts will just take the proof that money was paid and expect the seller to refund in full.

The auction website eBay is advising people who have bought tickets on the site to contact the sellers to ask for a refund. If they bought using Paypal, they can get their money back if the purchase was made during the last 45 days.
    According to the beeb.
Seems that moneyclaim.gov will be very busy for a while...

I suspect these would be typical cases where the judge asks that the parties try to settle the matter by mediation prior to any hearing. :)

The mediator will make sure you get your costs too. (unless you decide you don't want them)

Edit: this won't apply if a seller actually supplies someone with the tickets they purchased on ebay.
