I failed my driving test 10 days back. I failed on 1 serious which was that my car rolled back on reaching a junction. and 6 minors.
A useful site is to go to this site. http://2passforum.co.uk/phpBB2/index
It is an excellent forum n u can ask even the instructors over there about any doubts and there is a seperate section for failed and passed tests as well.
Very usefulI wanted to thankyou a million times but its a shame that I can press the button just once :T0 -

This might be helpful:

The main point the instructor kept drumming into me when I was a learner was that you had to move your head to SHOW that you were looking in your mirrors. The examiner cannot see you just flicking your eyes. And remember to actually look over your right shoulder just before you pull away from the kerb."Some say the cup is half empty, while others say it is half full. However, this is skirting around the issue. The real problem is that the cup is too big."0 -
I failed, because I can't drive! I got 2 majors, one of which I agree with, and one I think was silly. I pulled out too early at a roundabout, as I'd been waiting ages and didn't want to get done for hesitation. But another car had to slow down for me.
And when I was doing a reverse around a corner, just as I was finishing it a car waited for me. I don't see what I could;ve done, as you can't make any other car go.
I passed 2nd time with only 12 minors!Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

Twas over 24 years ago when I failed twice - first time on so many things I can't count them all but I was ill-prepared and very nervous. Second time I thought I'd done everything right and was disappointed to fail again so I changed my instructor. Third time I passed.Gwlad heb iaith, gwlad heb galon0

I failed my test twice. First time was for speed approaching a island and the second time was for speeding on a dual carriageway (i was just keeping up with the flow of traffic)
Never mind eh, start as you mean to go on!0 -

I faileed twice fifteen years ago. Both were bad calls and not fair.
The first time was for checking the nearside door mirror as I was reversing round a corner. I was looking behind but checked this too, unfortunately the examiner declared "when youre going forwards you look forwards and when you are going backwards you look back" very harsh I thought.
Second attempt was following a three point turn on a main A road (silly place for him to choose) I did a perfect manoeuvre observing the traffic etc. When it came to pulling away again I noticed a bus in the middle distance. As courtesy, I waited for it to pass and was given a fail for undue hesitancy!
I am currently training to become a driving instructor and with three tests to do lets hope things go a bit better.
Best of luck when your test comes.0 -
I failed my bike test for not moving to the side of the road quickly enough after my emergency stop. I thought what the examiner said was justified and he was right to fail me. I passed 2 weeks later. 18 months later I passed my Institute of Advanced Motorists bike test. Either the car or bike version of the IAM test is something that I would recommend to anyone.
