    Morning all

Skipkoo I've been to the Gnome Reserve, that place is great :D

Bargainrzl so sorry to hear about your gran - don't do prayers but am sending best wishes and healing vibes her way.

Don't quite know what is going on in the moggins household today, can't go out until XDH has been to pick up our son, DH is still in bed despite him saying I could have a lie in this morning. DD decided to get up then spent 15 minutes yelling at me from the bottom of the stairs until I had to get up and get her breakfast :( I've had to give up on the garden until she goes back to school as she is a complete pain out there but the seeds I still have to put in do say they can go in until the end of May so a few more days won't make much of a difference.

Roast lamb for lunch/tea (whenever I decide to cook it) I'll just see how the day pans out really.

And if that bleeding pigeon doesn't get off my chimney pot and stop cooing down the chimney I am going to go out there with a shotgun :(
Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

  • Morning all and Happy Easter :icotbaske

DD (7) patiently waited for us to get up this morning (7.15am) so she could "find" all her Easter eggs the Easter bunny had hidden :rotfl:

So far she hasn't opened any, but I'm going to let her open one in a mo - so she can do this :EasterBun

Breakfast was toast and coffee, lunch (probably a snack) dinner will be the full on roast: chicken (currently cooking in the slow cooker ala curry queen), sausages wrapped in bacon, yorkies, roast pots, stuffing, veg, gravy and bread sauce - can't wait!!!! Pudding will be apple crumble and custard or ice cream - if we can fit it in :rotfl:

Will get bathed and dressed soon - as I'm feeling somewhere on the road to normality today :j Throat is still a bit sore but all the other ailments seem to have gone (although I am incredibly hot)

Am looking forward to a lovely family day today with DH and DD just lazing about and stuffing our faces :rotfl:

Hope everyone has a great day!

    Jo x :easter_os
Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )
Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)

    :j Morning everyone!
Lovely sunny day here without a cloud in the sky! DS1 already hyped up from his Dora Easter egg and I think DS2 is going down the same route!!! :rotfl:
Goin to Mum and Dad's for big dinner later, can't wait. Made leek and pot soup last night, and even I"m impressed!
That gnome reserve sound lovely. We have a wee miniature railway 5 mins. down the road so might take the boys there later.
PP I know what you mean about smoke smells. My Mum smokes which doesn't bother me that much as she has done it since she was 18, but whenever she brings clothes up for the boys that she has bought in Tesco, they smell of smoke even if they have been inside a bag! I never noticed the smell when I lived at home. Still love her to bits though.
Well, have alovely day everyone!!!
Sept. grocery challenge = £500 (221.60 so far!;))
