Not posted much lately but been reading most days!

Sweet pea Glad you enoyed church this morning, but I'm confused - in our church, Passion Sunday is the other name for Palm Sunday, which is next week!

Penny-Pincher So nice to have you back! You were much missed. Hope you won't get too knackered this evening! Do try to rest, boring though it is (although if it doesn't seem to make any difference to how you feel, I know it's tempting not to do it.). I hope your new medication will help. Thinking of you all!

Queenie your posts are kind and wise as usual! Hope your boys enjoy the Easter-egg making. This week's Daily Express Saturday magazine advocates using only the best 70% cocoa solids couverture chocolate for HM eggs! I should cocoa :D Sorry, couldn't resist that one.

Catowen Happy "Ma's Day" as my DD calls it!

Hope everyone else is okay ATB to you all

    Afternoon all,

PP Hope the hospital visits will all be worthwhile for you. Keep your chin up!

Wet and rainy here in Lancashire today. OH needs to do a long training run this weekend but he is going to see if it brightens up a bit later. It is OK if it starts raining while you are out running but it is so difficult to go out when it is raining.

I am also coming under pressure to "get that junk on ebay or I'm throwing it out" so I guess I will be listing today. My books need sorting out too. They are starting to take over!

Oh well, Have a good day.

Hi Yall, A real April Showers kinda day here in the emids, not much OS going on today. Got up early and cracked on with my paid2clicks then off to church. Palm Sunday is next week:eek: Some of the earlier post got me in a flap as I had not sorted out any palm crosses to distribute LOL. So thanks for giving me a mini heart attack! and changing the Ecclesiastic Calendar without so much as a by or leave LOL:D

Lunch was at Pizza Hut to celebrate FIL 77th birthday (YAY) he paid (double YAY) I then whizzed mini MATHLETT to his second birthday party of the day and he worked off his pizza, chips and icecream with some vigourous Bouncy Castling before tucking into 'Chippin Nuggets' as he calls them more chips, pop and more icecream. I hope Jilly Mckeith doesn't read this she will swoon and then try and take my kidz off me LOL. He's currently working his way through a party bag of sweets and BD cake. I wouldn't mind but the poor child looks like he is never fed, he's skin and bone and you could play the Monkeys Wedding on his ribs LOL. At what age does that happy state end? I've been struggling to loose that last 2/3lbs since February and put weight one just by reading a serving suggestion. hehehe

Off to evening service in an hour for what I think will be my last chance of peace and quiet before next Friday, a mega busy week is ahead. Hospital appts, meetings, committees, rehearsals all loom as well as the 'usual' day to day doings. My kitchen wall planner looks like the Doomsday Book! so when Sarah Kenedy wakes me up tomorrow morning I may roll over and tell her not to bother!;) cos I'm on strike. (If only)

Tonight I plan to settle myself in front of the TV (resplendent in my JimJams and bedsocks) to watch Poirot with my two best friends (a bottle of wine and a plate of HM Hot Cross Buns)

Enjoy what's left of the day

    Good afternoon all
Finally got a few minutes to myself, the inlaws & have been & gone, it was nice to see them. I did roast beef with all the trimmimngs for lunch & then BS's cobbler using a tin of Cherry pie filling, I halved the amount of sugar & it still turned out yummy, in fact MIL took a copy of the recipe with her. I managed to record the GP at 4am which saved hubby getting up to watch it! He is now snoozing on the sofa.
WM is on for 3rd time today, but not risking it on the line, too many showers, so it's on the radiators & airer.
DD popped in this morning with DGS, as I opened the door to him, he said 'hello my nana' & he's not 2 yet. We had a kick about in the garden with his football between the showers.
I've started using the microfiber cloths & finding them really good. I wander round the house, wiping as I go, lol.
We will have a hot cross bun for tea later, as we're still full from the roast dinner.
Hugs to all that need them.
    Sue
