Afternoon everyone
Well, it's raining and dull here in Ticklemouse-land, but hey, who cares
VickyA - so sorry to hear about your Grandpa - sending positive thoughts to help him get better. I know from my grandma, that dehydration does make them so poorly and act very strange.
PP - glad DD had a fab party. Loved the pics
Well, I went shopping with a friend yesterday and went to an outlet centre. Maybe we were at the same one Nelski? I didn't see any wally trollies or saftey-pin wearers, or anyone with red eyes and blue hair for that matter :rotfl: I must have saved loads, because I bought 2 pairs of 'proper' trousers, 2 jumpers, 1 blouse, 3 tops, 3 handbags and some choccies and a shirt for Mr TM. Think I spent just over £100, but there were some fab discountsI now have some real clothes that fit me and look kinda fashionale
Will be decluttering my (very small) wardrobe of all the 10 year old t-shirts later today!
Have hung some washing on rads and put another load on. Will do some ironing later and have a think about what's for tea. Nothing fancy I don't think. Need to make some lunch soon - soup and/or sandwiches.
Have my nephew here ATM - so lots of hilarity coming from downstairs - will go and make BIL a cuppa too. BIL is taking our 'old'car away to borrow - on the understanding he fixes the brakes then it's fine to part-ex when/if my mum gets a little runaround of her own.
Ok - must go and look at my handbags - never been a 'bag' girl before IYKWIMMay even hunt out that recipe for banana muffins - was it from the recipe index Racy?
Hope you all have a good and restful sunday. (((hugs))) to those in need. About to be invaded by small over excited boys with toy guns nowMust dash....

Hello all,
Having a bit of a break and a browse and say the questions about the Banana muffins. I used Kirstyreanne's recipe HERE and did my usual subsitute sweetner for the sugar. I used a muffin tin and paper liners as it was the first time out for this particular muffin tin, but I think it will be ok lightly greased infuture (got it inthe Tesco sale). There is one muffin left and it is under heavy guard :rotfl:
As breakfast is a *must* for me but I don't always have time to eat at home I'm planning to try out some low GI muffin recipes to try to come up with something healthy and tasty theat I can take to work with me.
Queenie, I am sure everyone appreciates your generosity and kindness. Sometimes it is easy to get so focused on helping we don't always realise when we are giving someone more advice than is needed or welcome. I am sure we will all put the last few days behind us and get back to what we all do best, supporting each other.
Have lovely sundays everyone.
I heard a rumour about an outlet centre being cleaned out by a couple of manic shoppers yesterday....You lucky ladies!
Hmm, now to go explain to OH that the 16 handbags in my wardrobe are fine, but now I really, really, really have to have a new one(yes, I do use them all
and no, not for beating OH into submission with :rotfl: )
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead
Proud to be a chic shopper

Queenie
Big Hug and thanks for all the help you offer!
All the breakfast muffins have disappeared and I have now sold 12 books in 4 days at Amazon!
Some of the books are very heavy so may cost me more to post than I have earned, but as I am new to this and still learning -I cannot really complain.
Dinner will be chicken in lemon and garlic with new potatoes, carrots, caulie and cabbage with cheese sauce.
May try to bake a fruit lattice if I feel brave!"This site is addictive!"
Wooligan 2 squares for smoky - 3 squares for HTA

You have a lot of friends on here and I'm thinking of you and send a big hug.
Have a fun weekend with those lovely boys of yours and I look forward to seeing your helpful posts on 0/S and elsewhere.
