I hear where you are coming from Queenie regarding drs, just gone through a similar situation this morning after being referred to the Eye Hospital yesterday, very frightening to be told to go there...
Rang Dr's on return from Eye Hospital to be told to ring this am at 8.20 for an emergency appointment, earliest is Friday

Morning Everyone,
sorry to hear so many having problems getting to see a Doctor.
Done 2 loads of washing and they are now blowing in the gentle breeze and sunshine on the line, lovely!
Got the children to school, made a cake with DS3 help for the playgroup Easter Fayre tomorrow. BM is on with wholemeal loaf.
Been to town and bought, bread flour, nuts, orange and organic spread, so can now bake for childrens lunch boxes, enough to last the week, they break up on friday yipee!! I love school holidays, anyone else?
DS3 is now playing next to me with playdough, he's making me a ham and tomato sandwich.
He'll be off to playgroup this afternoon, I plan on whizzing round the house like a mad woman to get it presentable.
Early tea after school DD off to netball, I'm doing the taking (4 go) and friends mum will bring back. Friends dad will look after my boys while I take the girls, as he drives a van.
DH doesn't get home till late on this shift.
Well thats my day, off to "eat" my bright blue and lurid green ham and tomato sandwich.
Have a good day.MFW 1/5/08 £45,789 Cleared mortgage 1/02/13

Morning
(just)
Lazy day today - done lots of playing with DS2 - jigsaws, word games, I Spy, etc etc. This was while we were both still in PJ's tooHave at last managed to get showered and dressed and my bedding is in WM. Have rearranged a mystery shopping job from theis afternoon till after Easter hols cos I want that couple of child free hours to get on with things. DS2's pre-school finishes this week and DS1 doesn't break up until Maunday thursday, so will have 3 weeks with at least 1 child in tow.
Will have to fabricate some sort of easter 'bonnet' for DS2 for his session on Friday. I'm not going to compete with some of the masterpieces that turn up (that obviously cost a bomb), just as long as he has a hat:) Maybe a baseball cap with some crepe paper flowers and a couple of fluffy chicks?
LOL - was just thinking about hats and trying to be creative, and I've decided what to have for tea(Saus casserole) Funny how when you think of one thing, something else pops into your head.
I have a chimney sweep coming this afternoon to sort out what needs doing to the chimney pots to stop the 'darling jackdaws' nesting in there. It will be at least £85 whateverBut I'm not getting on my roof - no ladders for a start, so we'll have to pay whatever.
Right, must get DS2 to eat some lunch and make a start on those jobs that keep peeking out from behind the doorsHave a great day everyone and I do sympathise with those trying to get Dr's appts

Morning.
well a bright sunny day here, with a cat who now feels well enough to try and catch bumble bees through my front window. At the moment i am laughing at my kittens as its funny towatch, although i think i will not look at the nose and paw prints on the window.
Well today, i have the lucky experience of going to the Drs twice. I feel bad now that some of you can't get appointments at all, and i'm having to go even though i'm not feeling too bad.
3:30 - i have to go and see my councillor. Was supposed to see her yesterday as she had arranged a special clinic just for me. Unfortunately, when ~I told the receptionist i was there, it was very confusing as i wasn't logged on the computer, and they told me she wasn't there. Then i got home to a phone message saying the receptionist had made a mistake.
Then at 5:20 i have an appointment with GP to monitor my depression. Makes me more depressed having to sit in the Drs surgery while he runs at least 30 minutes late every visit. Although, he booked the appointment on the computer, so i didn't have to queue at reception or anything.
Must sort out a few niggly post bits today. A DVD went missing from an online rental so i have a form to fill in, and i need to chase up my wedding photographer as i still haven't got my albums from October. We were supposed to hear ffrom him by the end of MArch, and nothing as yet.
Need to change the date of my next scan as DH will not be able to make it on that day. I wish he'd remembered when i made the appointment.
Other than that, tackle the washing mountain, and turn leftover sausages from last nights tea into a tomato based pasta sauce.
Also puzzling why i have been registered with surestart as i thought it was for single mums and people with very low incomes and i didn't think i would qualify. Not complaining though. Also got a huggies voucher pack, so i'll have to put them vouchers somewhere safe, along with the pigsback BOOTS vouchers.
Anyway, must try and sort out some paper work.
Enjoy the sun everyone. Have a nice day.

Well I am back from the Doctors, nearly fell through the floor when I was taken as soon as I walked in..... what did I say about heart attacks!!!
Nothing in either of the sample that went in, the one at Christmas showed a growth of bacteria but nowt this time, have to go back in 4 weeks for an internal..... oooohhhhhhhhhwwwwwwwwwwww and then a referal to the Gyne/urinary expert....... no explanation as to why I was so crook and had to cancel the Paris trip except that it was the virus rearing its head again, which apparently I can expect it to do throught this year......... sleep problem, well we will tackle that once we have sorted out the water works........ fine......... so the pattern continues for the time being anyway.
Doc on hols for 2 weeks, me on hols for 1 week so appointment 11th May.... all I can say is thank god its nothing serious, having siad that they still have not had the results of the ECG I had done at the hospital in December........ I am supposed to think there is nothing wrong with my heart then..... you need to be clairvoaint (not the right way to spell it sorry!!!) but really feeling cross.
To add to that have just been to do my mystery shopper, have never been treated so offhandidly in my life, so guess who is going to get a stinking report.........
Right I am off for some lunch and a large red wine, need to calm down a little......

Afternoon everybody!!
What is it about doctor's today?!! My boyf tried to get an appointment with his doctor today and after trying for 20 minutes to get through he finally did only to be told that his doctor was on holiday and he couldn't see anybody else as they were fitting a new computer system, although they did have a doctor on hand for emergencies and if he got booked in with that doctor and he went all the way down there (20 minute drive) and they decided it wasn't an emergency they would just send him away (another 20 minute drive!!!)
So he will try again tomorrow!! What a wonderful system!!
Went to a gig last night, saw Graham Coxon (used to be in Blur) it was ace!!! I stood just a metre away from him too while the support bands were on!!
Not having such a good time at the moment, stomach is playing up, am waiting for a prescription for my anti-depressants where there has been a mix up so have been without them for almost a week now and not feeling great at all. Hey ho!!! Hopefully will get them tomorrow or Friday.
Brekkie was mini shredded wheat with milk and honey
Lunch will be HM soup
Dinner will be JPs with probably cheese, beans and salad
Night of lovely washing round boyf's mum's (don't have a washing machine in my flat) and revision for looming exams! Joy(!)
Have a lovely day everybody, lovely sunny day but freezing outside!!
:grouphug: hugs to all those that need them.
Take care and chat soon

Was lucky got to see a nurse rather a dr. So at least I did not have to wait weeks to see one.
Washing is out on the line. The 5th load in 3 days. Must stop this spring cleaning :rotfl:
Treated myself to some choccie as I am feeling rough and sorry for myself :rotfl: any excuse. Blow the diet this week.

My Sunday takeaway coffee has always been a weekly treat ever since I was first in London with next to no disposable income. At the time it was the only takeaway food I ever had, cos I couldn't afford anything else! Now that I'm trying to give up takeaway brekkies during the week for financial reasons, I'd like to hang onto the Sunday treat as something to look forward to
(I have cut the cost down as it is, cos it used to be a coffee AND a croissant/muffin from Pret, costing £2.59  but now I have toast or porridge at home and just get a latte from McDonalds for £1.29. If I have a plain black or white coffee it's only £1.09.)
Thanks for the suggestion though!Operation Get in Shape
