:hello: Gooooood Morning!! :hello:
This morning, for the 3rd time I'm on the telephone lottery to get an appointment with the GP!! Each morning, I start phoning; don't get through for 40mins only to be told all appointments have gone. I believe it was Ivyleaf who mentioned using ringback in her daily post Monday (great tip, thankyou) tried that, but our surgery number isn't included on the ringback scheme
Retrospective post really on yesterday. Baked two loaves in the BM, one milk loaf (using up some powdered milk) and a walnut bread.
Lads had another attempt at making their Easter Eggs because the first attempts didn't quite work out - not sure if that was by accident or design though, as they get to eat the spoiled ones.
Also, finally got around to taking all the recycleable's (sp?) to their rightful places after clearing out the utility room. :j Now they've gone, I'm amazed at how much space they were taking upMost were able to be disposed of at the bins at the Library car park, so double duty-ing that trip worked well. While there, popped into a £ shop and picked up a couple of balls of fancy wool (didn't know they even did wool!). Same kind that I'd paid double the price for a couple weeks ago at a craft fair!! I don't use much wool at all, but I like to have the odd ball or two to hand for other craft projects so I was very happy to find those
Picked up a couple of notebooks (£1 each) which have 4 seperate blocks of coloured pages. This is just what I needed :j :j :j Was able to begin to organise all the goals I'd set for myself earlier.
Yellow Pages - for household projects: What needs to be done, order of work; quotes, measurements, budget.
Orange pages for To-Do's
Blue pages are my spending diary for 2006/07 - things have slipped over the past year and I really need to keep more accurate records.
Green pages are for my eating diary - I need to keep a track of what we're eating basically
I have a weakness for stationaryso to find something so useful to me at a bargain price was great
Yes, I know I can do much of that on the computer, but I need something that prevents me from turning the computer on some days!!! :rotfl:
Must dash and start heating up the phone
Have a wickedly wonderful Wednesday everyone:wave:
Dobie - your cycle ride sounds fun! (Haven't read yesterday's posts yet, so I'm assuming from your description that it is a 'cylce' ride)
PP - I'd just like to say, that I wish you well in all that you do. However, I feel I need to refrain from commenting on your daily posts in the future. Despite having always endeavoured to be supportive of fellow OS'ers, my well intentioned, supportive post on Sunday was misconstrued by yourself and your MSE 'friends' and turning into something quite different. Even though I did respond to any confusion and apologise, it was still not accepted and to have my motives misconstrued, and then challenged despite my apology for any confusion caused me some upset and heartache; this is not why I come to MSE or OS.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

SOMO1 - fingers crossed for DH!!!!
Skipwoo - welcome to OS, hope you enjoy it here!!!!
Ronankfan - hope DDs are feeling better soon, bet you are looking forward to the last brownies tonight!!!!!
Well, hopefully we will be getting back to normal now, DS and DD both going to school, will have to write DD a note explaining about her arm, she will have to miss gym club and PE, and hopefully her teacher will keep an eye on her, and make sure she isnt using it too much, the quicker it heals the better, but i suppose it will do it in its own time!!!
Have 2 little ones here today, and it is lovely outside (a bit cold tho) so i think we will get out in the garden for a bit and im hoping that we might make it into town, as i could do with going to the bank, and getting some apples.
Bathroom needs to be done today, and im going to put the BM and WM on before we do the school run. Would be nice to be able to go straight down to town from there, but the bank doesnt open until 10am today!!!! The problem with living in a smallish town!!!!
Well, hugs to everyone who needs one, hope you all have a good day,
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -

hello all, another cold day here again, looks like its going to be cold all week, hope everyone has a good day today. i am off to aunties house today, she is the base for the magazines we all swap and its nice to catch up on family news. might have to take eldest grandchild to his diabetic clinic in afternoon with his mum, she hasnt learned to drive yet, might go to asda and get a cardboard box for the cats, they always have one, but got great idea on mse to close the box and make a hole in the side, with some old jerseys that would be a cosy bed, i enjoy reading everyones news you all seem so busy and organised0

:hello: Frosty start here today, but sunny.I really enjoyed my bike ride yesterday thanks Dobie,I'm going for another one this morning.I don't go far(as yet),must remember to take my gloves, hands get very cold on the bike.
Plan for today-bike ride, make some muffins and biscuits for lunchboxes, make cornbread to have with defrosted chili tonight,semi-make boy's beds(they can do the rest themselves) and go to school for parents' evening at 5.20.
Amazingly I've got 3 consecutive appointments with my kids' teachers and it doesn't officially start till 5.30 so they shouldn't have time to get too far behindI think there are only 3 families with 3 children in the school and it's always a bit tricky getting appointments that don't clash or are not 3 hours apart.
The boys have got judo at 7,so I'll feed them before parents' evening otherwise they'll be too full to do their thing.Me and OH will eat between P.E and judo.
My goodness isn't my life exciting :rolleyes:0 -

Good morning all
Been up since 6:30 here, taken hubby to work and am now going to do some paper work before going to work again! I'm hoping for a more organised day today, so I can catch up with the things I didn't do yesterday. Must make more bread today as we've almost run out & I may make some shortbread as hubby has taken most of the brownies to work. He seems to be the only one who gets HM cakes etc.
Breakfast Toast & Peanut butter
Lunch Prob the same

Morning All:hello:
well after DD getting me up at 4.45 for some milk  - went back to bed and managed to get a lie in till 7.20am!!! unusual for me as I'm usually up at 6 and surfing in peace.
DS now off for easter holidays, two weeks of trying to keep the peace between DS and DD!!!! (fighting already!)
Hope to go to shopping to get DD some more tshirts/trousers.
Apart from that will just play it by ear today.
Think its time for another :coffee: .
Have a great day all!0
