Have finally got back from hospital after hair-raising taxi ride which set me back £25 (all coz OH's boss wouldn't let him swap a shift - which actually woud have sorted the ward better, but hey she was probably having a Monday feeling ) Now can't wait to warm back up again. Have got to phone the bathroom fitters again today, we recently had the bathroom redesigned to make it more user friendly for me. WE had the bath removed & a large walkin shower with seat & grab rails installed. They had already given us the quote then discovered that they couldn't do what they said, so had a rethink (which included having the shower in the window  or having a wet room in a v.small room), eventually they decided they would have to take out the bathroom wall onto the landing & move the doorway across to enable the shower to fit coz of the extras. Am really pleased with it ( much easier for OH to keep clean), but last night the plinth on the base of the shower came away!!( it wasn't anything I did honestly) :). Still not allowed to have a shower on my own as have even managed to fall out of the new shower :embarasse . This was part of the reason for swapping from a bath coz of the number of times I've ended up in a heap on the floor
Am now going to try & make :coffee: So see you all later
Love to save & love a bargain

    Hello everybody,

I'm just about to have a shower and a bit of a read before going to beddy bye's. Thanks Racy & Rizly :D. Your concern touched me. I'm feeling much better now & didn't resort to a good weep. After all what's another week to wait. 4_6_109v.gifWhat really pinged me off is why they just couldn't be *honest* in the first place instead of stringing us along day after day when they jolly knew last week. Especially on the heels of the last contract it got to me. I think the RE guy was happy to escort me out the door, I said a few choice words to him. 4_2_103.gif:D

I have been doing my buget spreadsheets tonight. All seems to be in order and no major blowouts. Work tomorrow & then I'm going to the hairdressers for a trim and foils. It really needs doing as I got it last done before Xmas. My hairdresser loves to gossip ;) so I will sit back and enjoy. 23_9_7.gif:rotfl:Have a nice day and ((((((hugs)))))to you. Hope you had a good one Snowy.
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

    Afternoon all

Hope everyone is well today ?

Just spent my lunch break catching up on yesterdays posts and today's post

Hugs to all with medical appointments today

Well as I expected when I went home last night nothing had been done - the DW should have went on as it was full - ended up washing some plates by hand. had stopped at my sisters last night on way home as she wanted OH to look at something on her computer - she offered me a small drinkie poo - a Taboo and Lemonade - I have not had that you years and years (dare I say decades  ) tidied mess in kitchen left by the boys whilst I was waiting for dinner to cook. DW put on last night but bet it isnt emptied when I go home and the sink will be full with dishes

Really busy at work again this week - thank goodness the person we are covering for is back next week as my desk is a bombsite and I am sure I have missed something

    b - toast and cheese
    l - toast and cheese
d - chicken fajitas (might make my own tortillas not decided for sure yet)

Hope you all have a lovely day

    Take care

Afternoon all, hope everyone is having a lovely day, and that all those who are poorly feel better, and for those at the hospital, good luck with everything!

Another pottering around the house day, need to get my bedroom organised, as it seems to have turned into a dumping ground for everyone's clothes at the moment!

Had lovely HM pancakes for breakfast, macaroni cheese for lunch, and children and dh will be having HM chicken pies, a leek and cheese one for me, with veg and potatoes. Have even got SC on with veg stew with soya chunks ready for tomorrow's dinner. May even get around to making dd3's cornflake nests, she has been saving some little choc eggs for these! Bless!
