Are you still up Snowy Owl,
If it wasn't 2pm I'd have a red wine with you. Just got home from work. Dropped into the real estate on the way home. Guess what!! the contract has been extended. We have to now wait until the 12th to see if it goes ahead, and if all goes well this time we move out on the 28th. I am sooooo dissappointed. This is the second contract in a row that this happened and the first went pear shaped at the end so I dont hold out much luck this time. I think I will go and have a good cry on the bed and be done with it. Talk later.Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -

Morning All!
yes i'm sitting here listening to the birds, nice isnt it?
Well after my so called new positive thinking stage began yesterday, I was shot down in flames after going to sign on in the afternoon!!!!! This is the first time I have ever signed on in 25 years of working (got redundant last dec) - The people in the jobcenter have an atitude problem sometimes - they seem to treat people like little kids!!! some of these so called "jobsworths" - it makes me wonder how they get jobs? and I'm the one out of work? It really put me "out of sorts" for the rest of the day if you know what I mean? right - thats my gripe over, must move on (sorry to go on abit)
Didnt do meal planner as OH came home ill, DS1 stayed at work late, so will do new planner today.
Just having cup of tea and bit of QVC before the cbeebies gang get up! QVC have got pilates on now - making me feel like I should do more exercise!!
Have moved my money plant and frog to different corner of living room in an experiment to find out where it works best - after reading different theories of where to put them! SE or SW? will see how it plans out - time to work on career feng shui now to maybe make the jobcenter people nicer!!! ha ha
Have a good tuesday all!!!!0 -
Morning!
For some reason, a cheque I paid into the atm last week still hasnt cleared, and still hasnt appeared in my online banking. Its concerning to say the least. I think ill call them today and see what happened.
I get to finish at 4 today which is very pleasing, and also the bed is being delivered today, so I think I might have some building to do when I get home.
I feel pretty tired today so id better go do my makeup as I dont want to scare anyone!
Breakfast - some pastry thing from the shop
Lunch - chicken and veg in rice
Dinner - Ive no idea!
Have a lovely day all!

Morning all :j
The sun is shining here again - lovely
The house of stressed is much more positive today after DH's interview yesterday. Today he has a meeting with his current boss to find out what is going on (a bit late but never mind  ) and on Friday he has a meeting with the new company that are taking over the contract. So things seem to be ok, as in he seems to have a few options
WM and TD on, will put the next load on the line before I go to work.
Dinner tonight will be 3 cheese pasta - DD's favourite!
Good luck with the nurse Penny-Pincher
Bye for nowSquares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)0 -
Good morning everyone,
PP - glad you got a good nights sleep, hope all goes ok with the nurse and the hospital later.
Shez - sorry your day didnt turn out as possitive as it started, hope things get better today for you!!
JW - Hope the cheque is sorted out soon, at least you will have a lovely new bed tonight!!!!!
SOMO1 - Hope all goes well with OH, sounds quite possitive at the moment, so hope all the options pan out well.
Scruffy - good to see you on the daily thread again!!!!
Well, just one little one here for me today, but DD is still complaining her arm is hurting so think she might stay home as well, although DS is definatly going to school today, he can show off his black eye to all his mates so im sure he will be fine!!!
Ive actually got a hospital appointment today, had my blood test yesterday, so hoping that i wont be waiting for hours, which has happened before!!! Hopefully my level will be ok, and they will let me fly when its our holiday in June, although they might want to see me again before then to double check, which is a shame as they have been letting me go 3 months in between appointments so i was hoping not to have to go again until July.
Anyway, if DD does stay home, i might pop back into casualty with her and see if they will do an xray, i still dont think its broken, but she is still refusing to move it, so we might as well kill two birds with one stone and go while im up there anyway. (saves on parking charges later in the week if she is still complaining, im surprised all these health authorities are in debt, they must rake in millions in car parking fees each year!!!! sorry, rant over!!!!)
Right, DD is complaining she cant get dressed, so better go and help her!!
Hope everyone has a good day,
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
Morning everyone
PP - good luck with the hospital
Been a bad night last night - DD1 has conjuntivitus and when she realised she would have to have the drops she started to get frigtened then when i actually put the drops in she had a full blown asthma attack and was urging to be sick. She eventually calmed down and we got up this morning and her eye is worse than ever and now DD2 has come down stairs she has yucky stuff in the corner of her eye as well!!! My throat is worse than ever and OH is away on business tonight - typical!!!! DD1 wont be going to school but DD2 and DS will be !!!! (much to their disgust)
Ironing to do and one load of washing. Might try and get some baking done.
B - cereal
L - HM soup
D - Turkey in sauce with veg
Hugs to anyone who needs them

Morning everyone,
For some reason I am feeling really happy this morning, although its freezing, the temperature seems to have dropped dramatically.
Got a new garden table delivered yesterday, its was a bargain, Normally £500, but it was one left over from last year, albeit exactly the same as this years, so they had reduced it to £150, because it had the dowels missing, however they were there!
Then it was 25% extra off garden furniture and then when i got to the till it took another 10% off, then they didnt charge me delivery for some reason!
Its a lovely huge teak one that extends, cant wait to be sitting outside in the sunshine having a BBQ.
Hugs to those that need them, good luck to all those with hospital appointments, will be thinking of you.
Hope the chq sorts itself out, i am sure it will, if it was late yesterday, i wouldnt expect it to show untill at least lunchtime.
B. Toast when the breadmaker has finished, worked out the timer wrong doH!
l. Salad sandwich
S. Sausages, mash, purple sprouting and gravy.
Have a fantastic day everyone.
Off for a nice walk with the dogs, and then to a new dancercise class later, must fit the house work in!Pawpurrs x0 -
Morning all
PP - glad you slept ok last night. Good luck at the hospital.
jo - I hope that you find that missing money! I had some go "missing" for a few days longer than normal and some friends "lost" (thanks to their bank) the proceeds of the sale of their house  They found it eventually (the bank!)
Nothing much OS today, though I've got to remember to take some chicken out of the freezer for OH to make his supper. I'm scooting up to sunny Lincolnshire later this morning to sort out my bouquet for the wedding of the year (my wedding) Which reminds me, I need to get OH on the case of getting his friends' addresses so that we can send them invitations. He normally talks to them via e-mail, so it's quite a tall task getting him to sort this one out!
We've both tried to set up standing orders from our own bank accounts to our joint account. My online banking seemed to work with no problems setting it up, on OH's he went through the whole procedure only to end up with a message to pop into his local branch.
I've got to go to the beauticians this morning before I head off. Not very OS, but worthwhile at the moment.
Have a good day all
