    :hello: Goooood Morning OS'ers :hello:

It's a beautiful morning here and I'm hoping it will stay that way :D It's gardening day today so I need it to stay dry because the boys are both determined to mow the lawn ;)

Took a trip to TKMaxx yesterday and picked up a lovely bag of Pecksniffs bath products for my pamper basket :j Ok, it was *meant* for the gift basket but I made an executive decision to keep them for myself :o So, when we've finished in the garden, I'm going to take myself off for a bit of a pamper and de-stress.

Only managed to pick up a couple of bargains at the supermarket yesterday, nothing worth boasting about as such but useful for us any way.

Also got some malt cob concentrate  from a local mill so I'm going to experiment with that in the BM. I'll let you know if it's successful ;)

    B: Muesli and fruit
    L: Hummus
    D: Something from the freezer

    Have a lovely Sunday

Shez - how did your anniversary celebrations turn out, did you manage to get a babysitter?

Catherine - hope good fun was had by all yesterday. My boys love a cinema treat too.

joannasmum - hoping DH didn't over do it at the park ;)

Chipps - pleased to read that you are feeling a bit better.

moggins - I'm glad you were spoiled for your birthday, you deserve it!!

Bargain Rzl - I don't think the hen will take up too much time to be honest (I'll let you know for certain after we've rehoused her ;) ) Oooh, a week off? Enjoy! :D:D

twink - just wanted to say, your avatar had me :D:D:D this morning!!!!

smokey - I find I have to have super-willpower to not go on the computer, it's fatal for me!!! :rotfl:

elona - (((hugs))) So sorry to read about your Dad, how very scarey for you all! Hoping they find the cause and are able to give him the treatment he needs.

badgermonkey - :j I'm sure many OS'ers can relate to your excitement over your washing line :D:D:D Wishing you many carefree blowing days :D:D

nuttyrockeress - I was looking at the easiyo machines yesterday; was tempted, but put off that you have to buy those packets each time. Good luck with yours today :):)

SnowyOwl - fingers x'd for you for Tuesday. Good luck with your study this weekend.

Pooky - sounds like you really needed that sleep!

Michelle - Hoping Fred recovers fully and enjoys being a house cat.

Prudent - ((hugs)) sounds like you could do with one. Have fun with your popcorn maker and I hope you get the R&R you need. Enjoy the baptism too!

Was woken up at 02:53 this morning - OH shrieking at the top of his voice - What was that - something hqas just been buzzing round my head, trying to get in my ear.....

Was just in one of those lovely nice sleeps too. Anyway, he turned over and dropped back off to sleep leaving me wide awake wondering what it was - other than his imagination. Whilst lying there I heard a rustle which I thought was soming from outside but I ignored it. Then I heard something fall on the floor in the bedroom (OH lamp has been lying diagonal against the wall for a day or 2 for some obscure reason...) I thought the lamp had moved and knocked something off.

Anyways, turned over to try and get some sleep when I heard more rustling - still ignored it. Just starting to drop off when I heard really loud rustling from our bedroom window. I turned the light on on my phone then I wandered over.

To my shock, I saw a MOUSE    in my dried/silk flower arrangement in the window sill. I shrieked at OH this time OMG theres a mouse in the window

He thinks this is what was trying to board his ear - ewww Anyway, I walked over and turned on the lightwhilst OH tucked the curtains under. He knocked the mouse off the arrangement, caught it in the curtains and threw it out the window.........

SO I have been tossing and turning since just before 3 this morning.

My heart goes out to all of you that have trouble sleeping. I am totally tired and drained this morning but there was no real way I could have a propper sleep (Do mice always come in two's? - more to the point, how the hell are they getting in? Had 2 back in November that were caught in the bathroom?)

So today will be filled with stripping the bed, hoovering, cleaning bed frame, cleaning and scrubbing window, taking down curtains, throwing flower arrangement, setting traps.........

Breakfast - Can't stomach food this early
Lunch - at mum's Sunday Roast - Chicken
Tea, no idea yet, will take something out later - need sleep :o

    Have a good day y'all

    Good Morning All

Cant beleive Im on the first page of posting today!

Got up early today just so could have an hour or so with noone else around - bliss.

Nuttyrockeress - that is horrible.... I have a 'thing' about spiders and had one in my bed and altho it was disposed off I did have trouble sleeping for sometime after - do you think you should get a cat?

Firstclassmale - assume you will be having a lie in - enjoy it.
also Prudent - enjoy your relaxing day.

Queenie - hope the weather stays nice for your gardening, really need to do ours but no time today.

Have had 2 cups of tea and will do a small amount of ironing in a min before jumping in shower, need to have an early lunch as need to drop DD off at her coach for London at 12.

Am having a clothes crisis today - I am going to the Royal Albert Hall but as stated am going at lunchtime so will have a few hours to kill before the performance - I would like to wear my smart jeans with a vest and smart jacket (can remove jacket in the hall when it gets hot) and I will be cmfortable when walking round S Kensington - or will this not be smart enough?

I could wear some nice black trousers but the shoes I need to wear with them arent so comfortable and the trousers are a little tight since my hol:rolleyes:

Any advice if at all would be appreciated.

By the way - Bargain Rzl - enjoy the snooker - had to admit was upset when Ronnie went out - he would have made for a more exciting final.

    Have a Good Day Everyone

    Morning all

Managed to sleep like a log last night - considering I slept so much yesterday I was slightly surprised. Also managed to partly discloacate my shoulder putting the washing on the airer - it does it every now and then since a car accident - sat with a couple of wheat bags on to relax the muscle and DH manouvered it back into place......a very satisfying "clonk"...feels a bit achy this morning but hey ho.

Was hoping to get to a boot fair but it's been raining all night....

Off to buy some buckets for my seeds to go into later.

Brekkie - Scrambled egg and avacado
    Lunch - Wraps
Dinner - SC chicken and roasted veg.

Hope you all have a great one.

I did say to OH at about 4am as I was still wide awake, perhaps we should risk it and get a cat - I am highly allergic to them (eyes, nose runny, swell up, breathing sometimes gets a bit heavy) but OH and SS would love one.

Ouchie, Pooky!! A shoulder that pops in and out sounds very uncomfortable, not to mention inconvenient! (Drat! Now you've got my mind buzzing around with Mel Gibson :o )

Essex-girl - first rule of thumb when having a clothing crisis ... wear whatever *you* feel most comfortable wearing! If you are comfortable, you will exude inner confidence ;)

1st wash load out, 2nd now in :D (wish the boys would get up so we can get this bread started! I think our evening out on Friday is finally catching up on them :o )

I wouldn't bank on a cat doing anything - mine sit and watch the mice walk about 2 ft in front of them and give that "can't be bothered" look.
