    Hi everyone!
Had a busy start but managed to get the beds stripped and a dark wash on before leaving the house to get here early to unlock.
Am going to need to pop into town to do a few bits before picking up the small person. Will be sending off some Odoreaters back to the manufacturer as the bloomin things ruck up the whole time- OH had to pull off the road to sort them out which exactly what they're not supposed to do according to the packet. Domestic trivia!! Will also get some nutmeg as am utilising child labour and getting the small person to help me pick nettles [well he'll play whilst I pick I suspect :D ] for soup and I'll add some wild garlic to it.
We've got a mop chop this afternoon [that can all go on the compost] and then I'm back to my carpet sewing this evening.
OH is off on a bellringing outing tomorrow so the lucky small person gets to come to Tesco with me [he hates shopping!!] and I've bribed him with a trip afterwards to spend his pocket money.
Sunday we'll be going to Uppark the NT property as it'll be time for me to have a day off methinks ;)
OH has informed me that we're having rissoles tonight with the leftover cooked spuds and lamb from the weekend and he's making them. Yipee :j :j
    Have a great OS weekend.

Tootles - hope your day improves from now on!!

Not too bad day here - been ironing for the most of it. Just waiting for some more washing to dry then will iron that too so hopefully no ironing over weekend. Really need to hoover but think will leave that tomm, hopefully oh will be taking kids to caravan early as I am awaiting delv and think will hoover and wash all floors then and then get on with some paperwork. Will then go and join them for the evening and sunday - will be able to fully relax up there.

Quick dinner of jacket pots tonight - mine with chilli, oh cheese and beans and kids - tuna mayo. Am now fancying prawns tho because of the prawn thread.

Am quite glad this week is ending, have got a horrible meeting planned mon am and once that it over am quite looking forward to next week.

Back to the grindstone now - forgot to add am going to make rolls in the bread maker for the first time tomm - hopfully they will go ok.

Have a relaxing evening - especially Tootles and a great weekend.

    Hiya everyone.

Hugs to tootles. At least it is now the weekend.

I am so glad its the weekend. I managed to zonk out while watching telly last night. Taught 3 lessons today. None of which were horrendous. I think i might be getting back into the swing of things. I will be being watched teach next week. I'm not looking forward to it but at least i know its coming and i will just get on with it. No sign of me breaking down in tears today, so i think i may be ok. Also stuck up for myself. I was asked if i would rewrite an exam paper, and i said as it had took me a whole weekend last time, i was willing to correct any errors, but i will not be rewriting it. As i won't be there next year, someone else will have to do it if it is so urgent. :j I'm really pleased to have stood up for myself.

I want to have a good tidy up this weekend so i will be able to put my hands on any paperwork straight away. That will also make me happier.

I think i'm going to have to scout in the freezer to see what i can scavenge for tea. I will give DH a break as he has sorted everything out all week. Have a nice evening everyone.

Poor Tootles...i thought the pressure cooker incident was bad enough but a leakage at the front door is just awful! It could have been worse...at least you were at your own front door and not in the library.... I'm sure your shoes will be fine, a rub with a solution of warm water and biological washing powder might encourage them to freshen up.

I'm off for long walk number three this week, then when I get home I'll make some dindins (fishcakes and use up some frozen chips I think) then get my nose stuck into the books. I really want to finish my English essay tonight, that will leave the weekend for the History one.

Oh I've decided...I'm getting my hair chopped off tomorrow. It's down over my shoulders at the moment but is really shapeless and I just tie it in a pony tail. I'm like one of those old men rockers with long hair, though I don't have the shiny pink baldy head. Think I will go for a ladylike bob - well anything will be better than what it's like at the moment. The hairdressers always get really excited when I tell them to chop eight inches right off.

    Urm...did I just say something vaguely rude?:o

    Bye!

Pleae everyone, accept my apologies for not coming back here sooner to say a big THANK YOU for all of the lovely birthday wishes that were sent my way. After my morning posting here on Tuesday, I have not been able to get anywhere near a computer! I had a lovely day. My husband surprised me by having a day off from work, surprising me at my work with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and then cooking the most wonderful meal in the evening :D He cooked Broccoli and Stilton soup (home made!!) 2 different salads, new potatoes, carrots and broccoli and the a whole fillet of steak cooked in 2 different ways, 1 with a homemade red wine sauce and 1 with a mustard glaze!!!!!! I was totally gob-smacked!!! It has taken since then for me to recover!!
Anyway, he is on his way home now and needs a meal himself so i am off to see what I can scrabble together :p
    Thanks again
    Lots of love

Yay the sun was shining today :j
I got my runner bean canes up which Ive been meaning to do for ages.
We went to the library this afternoon and I did a bit of 'dumpster diving' on the way home and fished out two plastic veg trays to hold my paper plant pots and a huge bucket for growing mint in.Everyone already thinks I am 'that wierd woman' so nothing new there.
My washing did manage to get dry yesterday despite 2 showers of rain.
Lunch today was boiled eggs and tea was spag bol with HM pasta.
DS shared his huge bar of choc with DD and myself so im in a good mood for the rest of the evening.(OH does police friday night so is probably stuffing on something yummy from their subsidised canteen).

    Good Evening everyone.

Afraid I haven't read everything today so I'll just have to offer hugs etc where due.

Got a serious case of terminal man flu on my hands at the moment - it's only the cold I had last week, but you know what they're like!!!!! At least it's been really OS and cost effective as the poor dear can't eat much - throat too sore!!! I'm not bothered as long as I'm not hungry so have been polishing off the Easter eggs:eek: .

Amazingly managed to get the washing dry outside today - it threatened rain but it never actually happened, thankfully.
