Hugs to all and extra ones to FunkyFairy and NuttyRockeress

I'm thoroughly fed up today, bread was a brick again this morning, tastes nice, but has a moon surface top. HM edges burned and I have managed to mess up a fruit cobbler  . The bathroom I scrubbed to within an inch of it's life yesterday was somehow absolutely coated in red fluff from the newish towel OH used this morning.

You know those days when you think the next thing to happen will be fantastisch_09.gif ?? I think it might be time to dive under the duvet.

    Happy Birthday :bdaycake: MonkeyGirl
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D

I love the cheap prices and the bits you can pick up, but I HATE HATE HATE the arrows on the floor telling you where to walk and the way it is layed out so you HAVE to go through every part!!! Sometimes it makes me feel really trapped

yes thats how i felt, took us 2 hours to get through it and i had decided withing the first 5 mins i wanted out, felt very clostophobic (you all know what i mean even if i cant spell it lol)
Those we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear
Our thoughts are ever with you,Though you have passed away. And those who loved you dearly,
    Are thinking of you today.

Gosh, how did it get to be the 21st already? *chuckle* Time sure does fly, when you're having fun.

I think we're going to have to have a bit of a foray up into the loft, today. Thanks to Freecycle and our neighbour giving us his old computer, I've currently got three computer monitors sitting on the floor in this room, together with DS's old base unit (which had thrown a wobbly) and a spare keyboard. Its good to have spares of stuff, but not all over the floor! lol I'll probably Freecycle at least one of the monitors, but not at the moment, because there seems to have been three or four of them just lately.

So apart from that, jobs for today include getting the ever-present laundry, a medium-sized pile of ironing and a lot of vacuuming once I can find the carpets to vacuum!

I'm now another convert to Stardrops, following our big computer re-organisation. Unbelievable amounts of dust and dirt were hiding behind and underneath everything - but it was all soon dealt with, thanks to Stardrops and a microfibre cloth. :D

    B : Sunflower bread toast
    L : Egg sarny
    D : Fish & chips :)
:hello: I'm very well, considering the state I'm in. :hello:

Dreaded needle nurse gone and no more jabs for the time being:j had a bad night but am worrying about going away today and not having my home comforts IYKWIM.

WM on and will be hung on airer to dry whilst away. Nothing else to do as cleaner here today.

Thanks for all the positive vibes yesterday as the car went straight through the MOT, much to my OH's disgust...he so really wants another car but we've had this one for 5 years and has been very good to us. It drinks the petrol and would like a more economic one, we are hoping for the summer time.

OH just stripping the beds. Not bothering changing duvet covers as I would want to wash them anyway Monday as we need to take them with us. Have a few bits of food to buy at Asda before we leave as I wont pay onsite prices (£1.50 for a loaf of bread:eek: ) so would rather take more than less.

Must take my coursework and try and do some catching up. Taking laptop but wireless is down ATM so wont be able to come online:mad: Taking a book Ive been after reading for a while to stop boredom...LOL. Anyway, not leaving till about 2'ish, so will pop on again before we leave. Am hoping we can park near the caravan with the crip badge:confused:

    GTG and have a bath.
    See ya later

    Good morning

Jo - Have a great weekend off.
Smokey - Weather doesn't look that great in this part of Scotland either :o

Everyone else who follows - have a great day.

No definate plans for today. I am just waiting on some washing finishing.
May pop to the library as they called last night to let me know a book has arrived that I ordered.

Went to Morrisons and Lidls yesterday for my food shopping. Lidls are doing half price fruit and veg so saved a bit there. Seen a girl in Morrisons that I used to work with. Last time I seen here was over 2 years ago. Turns out she still works for the same company but as we do different hours we have never seen each other for so long!

Tried a new place for lunch yesterday (mum's treat of course) but was not overly impressed except when after we left we realised they hadn't charged for the puddings! Made it taste even better!

Over the last few weeks I have started de-cluttering areas of the house. I think Anthea Turner has inspired me. Now that I have an extra day off work I have more time to do things. Plus I also have a huge amount of "stuff" in this house that is really not needed. Yesterday I was doing a bit in the bedroom and came across a watch that my hubby bought me for the first Christmas after we met (so just over 3 years ago). Not long after I got it the battery died and my attitude then was just to get a new one  Had completely forgot about the watch which sounds sooooo bad but now I am going to get a new battery and I will think I have something new!

Well must get on and do something constructive!

    Good morning everyone

Looking forward to today, cos DD & babies will be coming to visit, all being well. :j :j :j :j
I have to get DS to a friend who will take him to the home ed. group, then I can be here when DD & co arrive.
I just hope the giant circular car park (M25) is behaving itself today, so she can have a good journey here.

    Morning all

PP tell your DH not to be too gutted about the car, it's much easier to sell a car with an MOT than without one :D

The kids are all dragging their feet about getting ready which is why I am here instead of doing some work, I am having to nag DD to eat her breakfast and I can't leave her to eat it on her own :( At least I've got some washing out to dry.

I have to take the parents shopping again today, I was hoping they would have another car by now but no such luck.

Poshpaws I wish I was closer to you. I have been trying to get my hands on another monitor for ages. My dearly beloved computer is being used as a table in my bedroom at the moment because I have no monitor or keyboard. DH says that as soon as I have one he will set my computer up in the bedroom and we will look at getting a wireless router so I can have broadband on there too. I keep looking in Cash converters but they only seem to be selling the complete systems atm :(

DH is working again this weekend, I must try and get out even if it's only to take DD to the park.
