Morning everyone
Hope everyone is ok today, it's fairly warm here this morning so will hang washing out in a mo and check my hanging baskets in case they need a little water.
It's my rottie's first birthday today so he has had me singing to him (poor thing) and we will have pressies and doggie cake later on.
I still havent managed to order shopping online that is on my to do list for later.
Did anyone see the programme last night about dog and cat fur? I kept laying awake thinking of the poor animals so not really had a good nights sleep.
Take care all0 -
Morning everyone. Not a very exciting day here either. Work during the day and swimming with a friend this evening. I have missed the swimming over the Easter holidays, so it will be good to get back to that. I had a bit of an interrupted night. There are lots of balloons in the dining room as it was my birthday on Tuesday. My kitten obviously discovered the joy of popping them and every now and again I would wake up with a start and realise he was popping more balloons.0

Good morning everyone
PP - hope all goes well today. Also you have reminded me of those 3 letters I used to find a bit nervewracking: TMA!!!! One of these days I will finish my OU degree - I gave it up to home educate 2 of our children, along with the part time job which was funding it.
DS has piano lesson this morning, then he is off to his "Saturday" job, which has changed days for this week. DD & babies are coming to stay tomorrow, so spare rooms need tidying & clean bedding etc.
And I am going out this evening, to a ladies' meeting at church.
Dinner will be soup & rolls, as we had roast chicken on Tuesday, chicken pie yesterday, so today the remains of the chicken get turned into stock for the soup. Also I have a kohl rabi from the organic box, and DS & DH are not keen on that - so it will be disguised in the soup.0 -
:hello: good morning everyone,
Sometimes I feel like I shouldnt be posting on this thread - it seems like you know each other really well, have you all met? i am trying my best to fit in!
PP - hope your haircut is good, it is nice to be pampered at the hairdressers!
Prudent - laughed about the balloons!
JW1096 - read that you work with one of the guys from the apprentice - obviously someone that didnt get sir alans job - or do you work for sir alan??
Smokey - we too have recently had a cemetery visit my DH father also died 2 years ago - Ive never visited a grave so much as my family have always been cremated - i found it abit hard at first - but now when i go i find it a good reminder of making the most of your life/family/friends etc as we never know whats round the corner. Hope you have a nice lunch too.
Snowy: sorry to hear you cant sleep snowy - I also dont have much to say, apart from after 3 weeks of arguing with virginwine, I got it finally delivered yesterday:j
I still need to get going with the getfit and lose weight campaign - at least you went for a walk snowy!
Pooky: Well I'm gonna look for the note from Pooky about making the rolls in the BM (cant remember which day she posted it on!) if you see this Pooky, could you just give me a quick reminder - thanks.
Off to get an anniversary present for DH for next week - its our 3rd and its "leather" - have had fun saying that i will buy him a leather thong! ha ha
Have a great day everyone in whatever your doing!0 -
Good morning everyone,
(((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))))))) to everyone today!!
My children are off with their dad today, i always hate it when i have to see him, but never mind, he can only be bothered about once a month, so at least i dont have to put up with him very often!!!! Told him that DD had broken her arm the other day, and when he rang to speak to them last week, he didnt even ask her how it was!!! Such a caring father!!! Anyway, DS is going for today and tomorrow, but DD refuses to sleep at his house, so she will be back later this afternoon/early evening. They will be having their easter eggs from him today, and as its DD birthday next week, i guess he will give her her presents today as well. Would like to think it would be a peaceful day, as my 2 arnt here, but i am working, and this morning i have 4 here, but only 1 this afternoon, and she will be going about 4, so i will get an hour or two on my own. Mind you, i always feel like ive lost an arm or leg when they are with their dad!!!
The rest of my plans for today are to hang the clothes that are in the WM at the moment on the airer (its raining today) and sort that cupboard out that i didnt do yesterday!!!!
Well, better get on, hope everyone has a lovely day
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
