    Hi Queenie

I totally agree with you about timing. .... Not sure what time the Local Petrol station shuts...BargainRzl will know but think it may be 11pm.

Even if the garage is open 24hrs, by 10/11pm .. it's still only an hour or so before the date stamp on the goods ticks over - hence the super reduction.

Just a quick one from me. I had a shocking first day back at work with awful kids, and school not doing what they promised in terms of support. I ended up home at 5 with a sick DH, a migraine, and in bed for 6:45.

Didn't get up till 6 this morning, and then had to plan extra lessons because they decided yesterday that they were going to send me out on a trip, so no free time to plan, and still tired and yicky. i actually burst into tears 4 times today,

I stayed after hours today to talk to my head of department, and he basically backtracked on the agreed support and said i was trying to postpone dealing with things.

So still sat here trying to work now. Did tell him if my support didn't happen i'd be lucky to be back a week before getting signed off again.

Anyway, best go. DH has sorted out some food. I really need to get on before i have a nervous breakdown.

vicky and Brzl - glad things are on the up with your grandparents.

    Michelle xx
  • Hi all :T

DH is watching the footie, so I've "escaped" to the pc :rotfl: Chicken casserole was yummy, even DD ate all of hers :D

Washing up is all done and put away, and I'm just about to fish out a suit and DD's school uniform to iron for tomorrow  I might even make DD's packed lunch :p I'm getting a free lunch tomorrow as we're doing something workie all day - listening to a speaker about moving the business forward  might be fun, and work are buying lunch :D

    Byee for now
Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )
Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)

    Evening all,

cha97michelle you have my total sympathy! I too had my first day back at school today but it was not that bad. I know how you feel about managers saying one thing and doing another as I too have been signed off sick for long periods of time, then returned to work to be made worse by bad management and broken promises. Try to not let them get to you and don't take on more than you can!

OH and I have had a nice evening, the shepherds pie I made yesterday was really yummy, we both finished every mouthful. I am just having a look about before readying and then off to bed. I am not working tomorrow so I will get a rest. Work took it out of me today even though I only had two of my own lessons to teach.

    Hello icon7.gif

I thought I'd be in here loads this week but it hasn't turned out that way icon9.gif. Maybe I will have better luck tomorrow. icon7.gif

Great going with the Sainsbury reductions PP, I do that with the city supermarkets, especially the ones that don't open over the weekends, there are some fantastic reductions on perishables to be had icon10.gif

    Hope everyone is well. (((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D

    Morning everyone!:hello:

I'm having another nocturnal wanderings tonight, been up for about an hour now, have had breakfast, brushed the cat, read a bit of a book...but how could I resist to come on here and say helloooo to everyone.

I went for a nice long walk again yesterday, my poor legs are upset with me today - serves me right for being such a lardarse all winter.

I can't think of a single thing to tell you - boring old life...

B = home made concoction of porridge, dried fruit, seeds, milk
L = who knows, will try and nip home for a sandwich or some soup
D = fishcakes, and some oven chips which have been hiding in my freezer

    Have a fab day everyone!
