Chipps - WIMP! :D;) some of us have been listening to the broadcast for the last 14.5 hours y'know :D

Have been having a culinary evening while aurally glued to the radio - 2 dishes of chicken pasta bake and an "experimental" bread and butter pudding. Only experimental because I haven't made one in about 10 years and didn't have a recipe, but had a raging sweet tooth, not to mention bread and an egg which urgently needed using up.

It was very nice - all three-quarters of it which I scoffed all by myself.

Have been in touch with Mum again via MSN - Auntie H (she of the micro-potatoes!) has come up to stay so she can sit with Grandma as Mum and Auntie R both have to go back to work tomorrow, but Auntie H is a teacher and not back at work yet. Mum and my little bro went to see G'ma this afternoon as bro is off back to uni tomorrow a.m. G'ma woke up enough to say goodbye to him (the only thing she'd said all day) so am trying not to read anything more into that than necessary :(

    Morning everyone

Just a quick post as need to get ready for work soon.

After a few quiet days at work I am expecting it to be extremely busy today. The bank holiday aftermath we call it!

Very cold and frosty here. Its blooming April for goodness sake. Just a wee bit of sunshine (without the coldness) would be nice!

Well gotta go and get lunch made for work and decide what to have for dinner.

    Have a good day folks.

    Bye for now

    Morning all

Back to work today will have to fight the M25 later on!!
made my hanging baskets yesterday bouught two clay pots that were reduced and planted the up too, bit worried that I don't have a greenhouse for my baskets but I have rigged up my own contraption for them I was amazed at how expensive the plants were it would have been a lot cheaper to buy a ready made one but there is no fun in that, I also bought the wrong brackets so I will have to take them back today (trust me to buy the biggest hanging baskets 18") I need to do a little shopping later, also call an electrician out to wire up my outside lights that the dog's had chewed through last year!! Talking of dog's they need a bath at somepoint too they are stinking the house out.
WM has finished needs hanging out and more put on, shower, dressed, then start work! (lucky I work from home)
    Have a good day all

Morning Skystar & everybody to come,

Enjoy your day at work :D I've just finished mine. The sun has been shining here today after all. Thought it was going to be another drizzly day but I was wrong. Unusual for me. :p DGS & ex DIL didn't turn up after all. Now why doesn't that surprise me. I have to go and pick up DD soon from work and stop off at the supermarket to raid more boxes. Run out again.

For tea tonight we'll be having ham & eggs on toast. Need to get a few grocery supplies too, but I'm feeling rather lazy atm. The thought of grocery shopping is unappealing. Anyhoo you all have a nice day & hope it's a happy one for you all. Byeeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)
