Morning all - Happy birthday to Skipkoo and Prudent

Bright and sunny down this end of Kent, looks a bit breezy though.

WM is on 2nd load, BM will go on in a bit of dough for rolls, huge pile of ironing to do but have a friend coming for coffee with her kids so will iron as I chat.

DD's dont go back until tomorrow which is nice - would love to keep them off for another week as I missed them so much while they were with my parents, never mind - I'm sure they'd rather be at school.

Went on a 3mile walk along the cliffs yesterday and down to the beach, was lovely.......came home and had a bounce on the trampoline before getting the bikes out and going for a quick cycle round the village - legs are feeling a bit heavy this morning but felt so energised from all the exercise.

    B - Toasted rolls
L - Left overs from fridge - chicken, rice, veg, salad etc
D - Chicken soup and HM rolls

Must dash and get showered - have a good one all.

    Hi one and all

Phew, the visitors have gone so now I need to get down to cleaning up the trail of destruction  but I just thought I'd work up to it by coming on here first. Withdrawl symptoms after not getting near the computer for a couple of days.

Hope the weather is going to be okay as I've got loads of washing to get dry.

This week I think we shall be mostly be eating. . . . .leftovers!!!!

I'd better move myself NOW or I'll never get started!

    Morning all

Happy Birthday Prudent and Skipkoo make sure you have a good one

I had a fastastic last two days.

On Sunday we went down to MIL and FIL and FIL dressed up as the white rabbit from alice in wonder land and did a easter egg hunt with the children.

Yesturday I went to Jimmys Farm. We did the Easter egg hunt. I met Jimmy and had a lovely chat with him i also met his GF and Dolly. I had my photo take with him and he gave my DS a big cuddle and told him all about the pigs.

Today it is back to real life LOL. I am having a lazy day as DD and DS are back to school tomorrow.

We are going to pack all the bags ready.

I need to do washing and hovering.

Will be in the garden most of today as it is lovely and sunny here and the children can help me plant some plants.

    Have a good day all

I'm not back at school until tomorrow. I think. Let's hope I'm right :D Well, I haven't had a phone call saying "where are you?" so it all looks well so far! ;)

I'm going to give my mum a call shortly. My grandpa is supposed to be coming out of hospital today, so I'd like to go and see him but I need to know where to go to visit him! I don't want to get to his house to find that he's still in hospital and vice-versa!

Yesterday afternoon I went to bed as I was so tired. When I woke up, OH had cleaned nearly the whole house bless him. We then had a chinese takeaway which he fetched! I'm spoilt rotten, but I won't loan him out. :D

I've just had my breakfast and I don't have a clue what I'll have for lunch. Probably an egg mayonnaise sandwich. Supper will probably be pasta with pesto.

    Take care all

Morning everyone else, have a good day all those going back to work today.

Pooky: Can I ask how you make the rolls? I've got BM but havent done rolls, dont think there is a recipe in my BM leaflet.

Had a nice day yesterday, took the kids to the forest for a walk and a picnic, it was a lovely couple of hours, I havent been there for ages, it was a cheap day out and the kids loved it!

My plan this week is to start getting fitter and slimmer! I AM GONNA GET THAT DAVINA MCCALL DVD OUT AND DO IT!!!!! Also talked about going running with DH - lets hope we actually get to do it.
Gonna walk to Lidl this morning with kids, get them more active.

Kids have started arguing, time to go have breaky...

    Enjoy your day.

    Good morning all!

Happy birthday to Prudent & Skipkoo

Its a lovely day here at the mo, so washing will be going out on the line as soon as its done.
Its the end of the month, payday-wise, and I am so disorganised this month. I am blaming it on us going away for a week, although that is a poor excuse. Anyway, there was no butter this morning, so DH has gone to work without a packed lunch, which is almost unheard of. I know that this month's pay is going to be a low one, so am particularly annoyed with myself for having let things drift.
Will get DS up and about shortly, as we should start "school", but at the moment I am enjoying the peace and quiet!

    Have a good day!
  • Morning & Happy Birthday Skipkoo and Prudent!!

Weather is chilly but sunny here ATM.

Needle nurse came at 7 this morning and hopefully should be having the last shot of jabs on friday-then will see my consultant in 2 weeks and see how everything is going:D Still resting though.

WM is on with towels and quilt cover from me quilt on sofa-they will be hung outside once finished. DW has been unloaded and house is all clean and tidy from friday still. Back garden is looking lovely and will try and eat my lunch out there today. Love smelling the washing blowing on the line.

DD was supposed to be back at school today, but was told last minute that they dont go back till tomorrow-have looked through all the letters and no mention but apparently it was decided last week:confused: She can have her pack up for lunch today....waste not want not!
Chineese last night was lovely and OH has had some leftover for breakie:eek: whilst DD & I had cereal and fruit. We tried the crispy duck for the first time and it was quite nice.

OH & DD are doing some more work in the garden today and washing the outside windows. Also have some eggs that need using, so may make a quiche for lunches and freeze?!

Hope everyone has a great day. Hugs to all.

    Breakie:Cereal and fruit
    Lunch:Chicken salad sandwich and crisps
    Dinner:HM FishPie and Veg
