Hello Chaz, Nas has gone a bit shy now, I'll see if a bickie will lure her out to talk to you
Rzl, Chaz is a swedish valhound, Nels can tell you all about him.

Hello everyone. I'm back.
I am really exhausted after a busy weekend. We managed to catch up with all the rellies, and the friends. Plus a trip up the Thames on a boat, with a trip to the science museum to see the Pixar exhibition. Very good for kids, or anyone who loves Toy story, finding nemo and other pixar films. Very expensive though at £9. (You can tell i'm a northern lass as i always spend half of a london visit going 'how much?!)
My problem with the BIL's girlfriend was bearable, if only because i realised that most other people who come into contact with her think she is a bit pathetic. I stayed polite and dignified, and managed to keep the peace. :rotfl:
i'm just finishing off my planning for my lessons tomorrow. I can feel the stress levels rising already as i have 4 lessons tomorrow and i can't see my voice holding out. Will have to see how it goes.
We haven't got the kittens back until tomorrow, so i'm hoping they have enjoyed themselves and aren't too sulky
I'm quite glad it is only a 4 day week.
BRZL - sorry to hear your grandma is so poorly. It's a horrible situation. You are in my thoughts.
Vicky - chin up. You get an extra day off compared to me, if that makes you feel better.
Moggins - a big hug from me. Do something to make you happy. If you need the a-ds, get onto the dr asap so you don't get too down. Have you tried councilling? I'm finding it helpful as they won't give me a-d'swhile pregnant. Also, a walk would probably do you a lot of good. Any chance of walking DD to school? Or getting out in the garden while she is out of your hair
Well, I've got to print some bits out, grab a quick bath, and sort my work clothes out before PB at 10pm. I did watch the first part of MAry Bryant last night, but it was so slow i shan't be making the effort to watch it tonight. I need to make sure i'm tired or i won't sleep otherwise and struggle somewhat tomorrow.
Hope you all enjoyed the bank holiday.

smokey - it just means that everybody's idea of a "portion" is different. In other words, that a quantity of food which one person considers a "portion" might be laughed off the plate by somebody else with the words "Yeah right, where's my real dinner?"
Like the time we were staying with my auntie H circa 1985. Auntie H was cooking dinner and emerged from the kitchen with her hands full of decent-sized spuds. Auntie H to my dad: "How many potatoes would you like?" Dad: "About three or four". Little did he realise she was planning to chop them up and give him three or four pieces... :rotfl:Operation Get in Shape

Visiting Pippin is one of the best things about visiting my mum
(Honestly, she looks exactly like Chaz! Will Chaz feel I'm threatening his masculinity if I tell you that my little bro once entered Pippin in a "Prettiest B!tch" competition and she won...)Operation Get in Shape

Good evening all
BargainRzl - (((hugs)))) for situation with gran
Thanks too for mentioning the radio broadcast, I am now listening in.
We had a nice day today, family day out to Hatfield Forest. Both my sisters & hubbies, 1 of my nieces, mum, our 2 DSs & DS1's fiancee - and their dog, a jack russell puppy who bounces rather than runs.
Walked for miles, had a picnic in the sunshine, enjoyed good company & lovely scenery (albeit to the backdrop of planes leaving Stansted airport) But a lovely day. Just what a bank holiday should be!
Hope you all had a good day, whatever you did.0 -

No it's quite ok, I much prefer possum stew.If anyone wants that recipe I'll post it on the recipe board.
Mind you it's not as tasty as koala stew but a close second.
