Not much going on today.
Have spent mst of the day with my cleaning head on and slowly seem to be getting there. Thought maybe i would come across more things to put on ebay...but so far no luck!
One good thing.....made the call to Virgin and shut the account down. Said i will recieve confirmation within 7days to say that the account is now closed!! Wahey. :j So i guess the aim is to pay as much of the debt i shifted to the lloyds interest free before the 6 month is up. :A
Still watching OH lloyds cc to see if they accept his BT application!
Applied for a job today which i would really really like! but we shall see.
Anyway, i will carry on a bit more.
See u later.

Good luck with the job application.
Nice to be able to close a credit card account down, hope your DH gets his balance transfer accepted.
Not done much myself today as have a cold starting my throat is really sore when I swallow, just my luck!!!Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU
I just applied for an Asda Credit Card after you said you got accepted for one, am amazed but happy because it takes into account OH's salary. After I signed the Agreement and submitted it it said that my Credit Limit would be £4,000, after you saying they gave you £500, I just put that I wanted to transfer £1,000 as I wasn't expecting to get too much credit limit so hopefully I can transfer more than the £1k I put down, my M&S More card is reverting back to the original APR as it's been at 7.9% for 2 years so could transfer that too as that is just under £2k.
Am happy now so thanks, am glad I tried it now.
Hope you are OK, did Lloyds accept your DH's balance transfer?
How is your little girl getting on? Is she 2 yet? My DD3 will be 2 in May, can't believe the time has gone so quickly.
Anyway, take care and look forward to another message from you soon.

TMD!!! That is fab news!!! im sooo pleased for you!! and what a great limit!!! should see you save a few pennies!! or at least save pennies that would otherwise be eaten up by nasty interest payments!! I really did have a big smile on my face reading this!! good stuff!!! :j
Havent heard from lloyds yet......keep checking online but nothing has been transferred over so maybe a big fat NO letter will be arriving soon....never mind!!
DD is fab....started potty training today!! So far so good!! She is quite a clever little spark so i am really hoping she catches onto it quite quickly. Will see how tomorrow goes though. She will be two in a few weeks!!! aaarrrggghhh time flying!!
Right time for a soak in the old bath me thinks.
Brill news!! Well done!!

Thanks, didn't think I would get accepted to be honest as my debt is over £27k, it didn't even ask me how much debt I had or how many credit cards I had, the Santander application form did so I didn't bother. I found M&S More were the same as Asda, it asked me for joint income for me and OH and I got that 2 years ago at a rate of 7.9% for 2 years.
Wow to potty training, I didn't potty train mine until they were 3 and able to understand more and they both learnt pretty quick but will try and potty train DD3 at about 2 years 8 months until she can talk a bit better and tell me when she wants to go toilet, sometimes she holds her nappy 'down below' as if she is doing a wee and sometimes she goes to the cupboard where the nappies are and gets one out but then when I say about having a 'clean pee' (what I call nappy) she runs off.
Hope you hear from Lloyds soon.
Enjoy your evening.

Well as the mini title say...we have faced yet another LBM!! LBM number 3!! This LBM has seen the addiction of the business debt...because at the end of the day that is our debt too!! It comprises of a business loan and a tax payment due to be made to the taxman the end of march!
So there we have it....everything is now included, nothing else to hide!! A total debt of £54090.26!!!
Grrrrrr.
Some positives to pick me up:-- Lloyds loan ends March!!! therefore £105.75 a month better off!
- All loans are now into there no interest amounts and therefore full payments come off total!
- We are also hoping to save some pennies to end a further 2 laons by the end of the year!
- OH and I are now on the same page and tackling this together.
- We have a wonderful family and a lovely home.
- We have never defaulted on anything we owe.
Today I am having a bit of a tidy up and get myself in order. Need to get back on top of keeping a diary...went into hiding due to the fact i did not want to include business debt in my sig.
Thanks for reading everyone! I hope now that i have a proper figure of debt i can start again at firing away at it.

Hi
You have done so well, I'm sure you will get your total debt down in no time, at least you and your dh can tackle this together now. I'll still be checking in, I'm hoping to start reducing my debts now, mine are over £27k need to work it out again.
I did my balance transfers earlier to my Asda credit card, I've got a couple that now have under £1k on them and feel better that I can try and get these paid off earlier and concentrate on the bigger ones, my A&L (MBNA) is the worst one.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -
Glad to see you back on here and for being so honest so well done. Keep updating.0

afternoon readers!
angela & TMD - thanks for popping in!! and for the support!!
havent done much today apart from play with DD. Have spent a bit of time looking at the spreadsheet and seeing what the plan of attack is. I need to get my teeth into something....i always seem to make a plan and then it goes down the drain!!
Payments will be being made this week and so figures will be going down :j
It does actually feel better now that we realise the true figure of debt, rather than pretending its not as big as it is.
Will soon be celebrating the end of 1 loan!! Loan with lloyds will be finished March 28th!!! YEY!! we have a full payment this month and then a final small payment march 28th!! wahey!!
I have been feeling down recently because i feel i need to get a job and help....but today i am being less hard on myself. we make payments on time and often overpay where we can. we manage on the money we have. For me to go to work i could possibly be doing it for a little amount of £30-50 per month by the time we pay childcare fulltime. So my job at the moment is being a mum!! being a debt buster!! and being a happy lady!!
We are ina situation we would rather not be in.....but life is too short to spend my time stressing constantly over reducing debts asap. The debts come down each much...and that is the main thing.
I will admit we need to be more strict on our spends...we give in to the take-aways a little too easily at times. This is something i intend on being better at from now on!:p I actually cooked a curry (the day after buying a take-away one) and it was soooo much nicer!!:D even if i do say so myself.
Made a lovely dinner out of noodles, peas, onions and chilli's too the other day!! Total cost of about 80p!! I impressed myself!!
Anyway won't ramble on.
back soon
x
p.s OH just called and more work in the pipeline!! yey!! although he is now employed he is still running his business for extra income! was we sort the money out for the taxman this will be plunged into the debt to get rid quicker!0
