    Happy Tuesday all.

Today is going smoothly....managed to get 7 things listed on ebay and do most the housework. Just having an hour looking at the old spreadsheet now.

I know I know....im a bit obsessed with it but it helps me stay focus...and gets me excited for the future.

This months payment from lloyds loan is showing as cleared so the final amount is now showing on the account!!!...drum roll please......£78.00 to pay!!! then its one loan down and £105.75 less to find a month!! woop woop!

I may even get around to paying it next week rather than waiting until the end of the month....we shall see.

This weeks payday is dedicated to CC bills. I am now in full swing of weekly pay and its actually working better than being paid monthly. It means that i can pay all credit cards one week of the month and then not have to worry about them for 3 weeks!! yey!

Tomorrow is going to be dedicated to cleaning out wardrobes...seems ages since i last did them and they are very overloaded and messy. Who knows maybe i will find a few items to flog.

Anyway back off to the spreadsheet.

Hooray, not long until the Lloyds loan has gone. Have fun sorting out your cupboards, my side of our wardrobe is chocablock with stuff, mainly Ebay stuff.

It's a lovely day today, sun is shining, it feels like Spring is here.

OH spoke to the Financial Advisor today about mortgages as our Fixed Rate ends in June and he is coming round tomorrow at 10.30am, OH asked him about my Endowment and he said to cash it in so that is what I will do tomorrow hopefully after I've spoken to him face to face, not sure if I will have to pay tax on the money or not.

Can't wait to pay some of my debt off, will pay off MBNA which is about £6.5k and maybe £2k off two of the others which will pay those off too and then I can close those two. Will keep MBNA as they have always had lots of balance transfer deals.

I feel like I have a new lease of life as I will finally have some savings, want to get my car serviced and then put some in savings, want to be able to take my kids places this Summer as the last two years we haven't been able to do much as I've not had any spare money.

That is good that you have work coming in.

The £10k will be good but will still have £18-20k debts left, will be keeping £1.5k in savings to fall back on. Will have 4 cards left 3 with low APR's and one that will need over payments made.

Financial Advisor is e-mailing me a couple of companies that buy Endowments so will see how much more they will offer.

    Morning diary readers!

Well its an early morning for me as DD decided it was time to get up at 5.30am!!

On the plus side the weather is fab and I have just paid all min payments on the CC's!! So thats done for the month. Both loan and CC's paid so can relax for the month and think of savings and overpayments.

Today is day one of the new 4 month plan. (think i mentioned it) So apart from the £50 i will take out for food shopping today nothing else leaves the bank this week!! woo hoo. Any money left over from the shop will go into the loose change pot incase we run out of something in the week.

Applied for a current account alongside our premier account with lloyds....we are currently living within a overdraft of £2000-£3500 a month and I want out. We fell into it a couple of years ago when bills outweighed income and never got out of it. So although times have changed and income now covers everything, dragging ourselves out of the overdraft is proving difficult. So hopefully that account will be up and running next week and we can set bills etc to go out from there and we can treat the OD as the debt that it so rightly is. In a way its the worst debt we have, as we pay £50 a month and see nothing change....at least with evil Virgin/Mbna £5 comes off a month!!

So all in all a happy lady here. Going to get DD dressed and sorted for brekkie in a min.

Tiny bit of ironing to do but not much, and a nice playday planned. Have one thing on ebay ending today so if they pay quick i can get that in the post too!!

Anyway best get sorted with the day.
    Enjoy.

P.S TMD - did you manage to get more for the endowments??

    Hi

Hope your new account is up and running soon, OH advised his brother years and years ago to do that as he was always in his overdraft and was getting very stressed.

I filled a form in online with a company who buy Endowments so am waiting for a quote, when I rang up she said I would get a reply within 24 hours but online when I submitted the form it said 48 hours. Hope they give me a bit more for it as every extra bit will be a great help.

We have headlice again. Saw one in DD1's hair this morning and DD3 had 2 but she doesn't sit still long enough to have a proper look so have to dig out the nitty gritty comb and go through all their hair later, such a pain, it's annoying as the nurse at the school said last time we had them that they are not allowed to check the kids hair and if they saw a child with headlice in their hair they are not even allowed to send them home. How stupid!

Have a nice day with your daughter.

    Morning!

Just a little update from me....

    - did well last night and listed 9 things on ebay....i have decided that i am going to leave the money made each time in my paypal account until it reaches £100 then remove it. I have a terrible tendency to take it when there is £6 in there and then it disappears!

    - Cleaned upstairs this morning and the garden so its a quiet day for me the rest of the day. Will hoover the front room, dining room and kitchen later.

-took rubbish to the tip...one more journey to do later.

    On the debt busting front.....

    - new lloyds account now open so just need to get around to switchin the DD's....im guessing that if we go into the bank they can do this for us pretty quickly?? its the same bank just a normal account rather than the premier one!

    - Got £165.61 saved so far in the saving fund!! With a further £70.22 to add to it by Friday...that will be £235.83. YAY. Still making min payments but having a saving but for 2 reasons....(1) an emergency fund and (2) its doubles up to pay big chunks off debt when it gets big enough.

Going to have a scout around now for anymore bits and bobs i can put on ebay!! Am having difficulty in deciding whether to sell my wedding things...shoes, tiara etc...potentially a least £100 there......never going to use them again......aaarrrggghhh decisions!!

    Hi

Glad you got your bank account sorted, hope it is easy to change the DD's.

Well done on being so organised and doing most of your household chores, I haven't started mine yet.

Just think of the money you could get from selling your wedding things, only do it though when you are really sure.

Good news on my Endowment, the company I enquired about selling it to gave me a quote of £10,747, £551 more than cashing it in with Prudential, she e-mailed me the paperwork and I printed it off and sent it back yesterday. Have to wait 3/4 weeks for the money if everything goes through OK, am desperate for the money though so I can pay off 4 of my cards, will definitely give me some motivation to pay off the rest as soon as I can.

Wow thats fab news TMD!! a nice big chunk of debt rid of!!

I have bitten the bullet and listed my shoes and tiara on ebay!! and a few other bits and bobs. If all my listings were to sell at starting bids alone it would be a nice £107.78 after fees!! Nice to add that to my saving pot!!

Timee for some lunch me thinks!! I have earnt it this morning!

Hope you get lots of money for your shoes and tiara.

Enjoy your lunch, DD3 and I had marmite sandwiches, I'm hoping she goes to sleep soon so I can wrap all my Ebay parcels up.
