Theatre is a great idea. And there are some open air performances around at the moment.

Sarahjovi is right, things that you have wanted to do that he wasn't that into. I'm not one to talk about fitness type things, but if swimming or running - sounds good but can't see it working for me - or cycling might suit, you could have an aim - to run 5 km, to swim the equivalent of the channel over a few weeks, to cycle the equivalent of London to York over a few weeks. Also apparently exercise stops certain types of depression, is it because of endorphins? I'm certainly not saying that you are depressed, but there is a def feelgood factor.

Are there any cheap travelodges about for a shopping trip with friends? Do you fancy a cheap RyanAir flight somewhere, maybe just for a couple of days?

Could couple the two together, we fly to Dublin whenever we visit OH's parents (who live in Limerick), the next trip coming up we have flights for £2 per person return with Ryanair, and a travellodge room booked for £19 a night, so a very cheap trip! If your local airport goes to Cork I thoroughly reccomend it, beautiful city.

Coming to the thread late but didnt want to read and run.

I dont want to reiterate to much but think about what happens a few years down the line if this resurfaces.

Otherwise .... tequila seems to be suggested a lot. Stay away from this evil drink.

    Hope it works out

BrownCow, hope you're keeping yourself busy and are thinking that the month is going by quicker than you expected? Keep at it, thinking of you x

Hi, just having a peak to see if you have been MSEless for a little while! So I hope you're doing OK and life is feeling better, whatever has happened and whatever you decide.

Just want you to know when you do check back in that you haven't been forgotten, x

BrownCow, haven't saw your thread until now, and not sure if it's already been done but the book 'He's Just Not That Into You' or 'It's Called a Break Up Because It's Broken' are both fab, and really help you see clearly when someone isn't treating you the way they should.

And just found out today, the average and most likely time someone will propose to you is after 22 months! And if they haven't done it after 7, chances decline dramatically...! Was pretty shocked at those stats!

    Hope you're well.

Thanks for your replies and message. 22 months! Wow!
I'm feeling much stronger in myself although I do have bad moments too. We're both communicating a lot more, he's been phoning me and he came round. Had a few chats and he says he's feeling much clearer and not so panicked but hasn't made a decision yet one way or another!
TBH something has happened that has bought us together (too complicated to go into) and things are good at the moment. I'm actually enjoying our time apart!
    Life goes on...

Please get rid of this loser! Stop hanging around to see what he decides. You are worth SO much more! :A
