Urghh! My motivation has gone. Busy week at work, odd sleeping patterns (party due to stressing about work) and am now feeling guilty for not doing a workout at lunchtime as I don't want to now but did nothing yesterday. Trying to decide what I fancy doing...

feefee it was a happy meal not a mctriple whopper burger with supersize fries - you should be proud of the choices you made. and you got a toy, so overall thats a win i think.

managed to get a ticket to see part 2 tonight! v excited, but will like a big old saddo - going on my own and I'm going to cry like a girl too. never mind.

KPC - unless I'm very confused :confused: you ARE a girl so that's OK.

Saw His Dark Materials some years ago when it was first at the National Theatre (and a pre-play talk from Philip Pullman) but I don't think it comes anywhere near the books - do you? He's writing a new one called 'Dust'. Can't wait.

    yo guys.

i got naff all to say really which makes a change!!

Im dressing up as a 60's person on saturday. I bought this dress which has a 36 inch hip measurement, and im a 41 incher so my mum is now trying to make it fit me! Obviously size 12 people back then didnt have big hips. Talking of hips, if i was an hour glass shape my boobs would have to be about a 32H or something stupid. My friend has the same hip measurement as me YES but she has a 30G bust and i have a 32C bust so shes more hour glass than i am and the tape measure got to 90 on her boobs, so still a fair way to go. Good job i dont really!!

Right im off, wanna get an early night cos im going to the port tomorrow and them in going shopping for my summer hol! Exciting. Oh and the 60's night.

    night all!

beanie: ouch! hope you feel better soon. Could you not get a muscle relaxent? When my neck went into spasm after i did it over i was given valium or whatever and that got rid.

  • hiya, can i join in this thread? i joined tesco diets this week for 10 weeks so due to expire 26th August 2009. This is good for me as I'm a dance student, just finished my first year and am currently 11 stone 2. Used to be 11 stone 12 pounds January time and lost the weight slowly with diet and exercise.

im vegetarian and my diet's pretty good, im not a proper veggie really cus i eat fish for protein but tescodiets has given me more food inspiration - just hope we can afford the ingredients as hubby and i currently have £25 food budget a week until i start my saturday job and husband finds a full time job... this is our own fault for not budgeting properly but we will be better, dont worry. :)

i need to lose about a stone, though tesco diets says 10 stone 7 is my goal so i'll see what thats like. im aiming to do cardio about 3 times a week and toning 2wice as well as flexibility for my own dancing. im also going to two contemporary dance classes a week but dont know how long for as i might be working for dwp over summer mon to fri.

speak soon if im allowed on here!
I am a poor student wife now but don't think I can edit username? i study dance and love it though of course, it'll be a career that doesn't earn a lot of money!!

lost 5lbs so far - up to 11lb more to lose i think, will stop if it looks skeletal though dont think that could ever happen!

Had such a bad day yesterday. Finished work, had dentist appointment, promised my sister i would go to sunbeds with her, DS had an award ceremony at school, then back to work to be trained in a job that I already do :rotfl: It didn't leave much time for food until 4:30pm. By then I was staaaaaaaaaarving. So went to shop for a couple of sausage rolls, then had a large portion of steak pie and roast tatties. I so wish they would remove the vending machines at work, i can't resist steak flavoured McCoys. Which was my breakfast yesterday  This was on top of my usual apples

Welcome Studentwife! No need to ask to join - you just joined by posting!

Well done on your loss so far - and good luck with getting to your target. I think it's a good idea to be flexible about targets, so IMO you're doing the right thing aiming for the next 'marker' and seeing how you feel when you get there :D

I reached a point where I decided to stick, then went on to lose another half stone, and now I tend to maintain anywhere between the two, which suits me fine :)

Hope everyone's doing OK and got a good weekend planned :D
