Oh well just found out that my trousers were getting a little tighter - 3LB GAIN for me this week! Been getting a little over confident with the number of STS's recently and haven't done any significant exercise. Never mind back to first principles, at least the slip wasn't too big. And as an added incentive there's a dress I want that i need to lose a few millimetres to be able to get into. If anyone's looking for me next week I'll be in the gym!0

Well done Nyk :T:T and comiserations Vixstar. Back to first principles must be the best way -- don't follow granny's example  and let it go on (and up) for weeks before you see the light.
Nyk - do you think the pumpkins will all be reduced now that hallowe'en's over? And do you actually have a good recipe? I've only cooked pumpkin once and it was so tasteless I've never tried again. But of course that may have been the way I cooked it ......
Victory - if the weather where you are is anything like here in jolly NW London he'll be blown off his bike and completely drenched too.
Bails - please note that creme brulee begins with c and is therefore the enemy. Be warned.
I did eat cheese ( about 30g brie) yesterday and a piece of raspberry tart (sort of cake) --- but it was at a birthday party (quiz supper) for an 80 year old friend and it would have looked very rude (seriously) to refuse it. The catering was based on 80 year old appetites - OH thought the main course was a starter - and I did refuse all the crusty white bread and the after dinner chocolates so I still count it as a successful day.0 -
Well done Nyk! :T Don'y worry Vixstar, a little jolt in the right direction never hurt any of us - hit those machines hard this week :T
:rotfl: hadn't thought of that Granny - duly noted
Impressive resistance at the party G - those after dinner mints would've got it from me

well done nyk!
well after vowing to stay good I didn't for no good reason so cross with myself. Today will be better though! Good advice granny, I do want to tak pics but i have nothing to take pics with! My elderly phone has a camera but I can't send the pics anywhere else and we don't have a cameral ourselves. Might have to borrow one to take some pics this week . . . . wanted to start putting a undercoat of paint on the current kitchen but realised that the radiator needs to come of one wall, and the other needs some replastering so spent yesterday watching grand designs instead. Some of those people are quite scary. sorry about your row victory - he's gonna come back so wet and miserable, he'll wish he'd never went!0 -
