Great news about the cycling BB! Hope you enjoyed it! Slow is good for general healthy exercise, what counts is getting your heart rate up for 30+ minutes as you will have done, not what speed you are going.

Have a virtual wing-sticker for your top tube ;)(if anyone understands that other than you and me, I'll be mightily impressed...)
ooh, thanks for the sticker. I shall display it with pride.
It felt good to be out on it, if unfamiliar. I went again today after a good 3 hr yack with bails. It was such lovely blue sky/ sunny down here - the very weather I bought the bike for... and pootled along the seafront much further this time. Thanks for your comment re slow is good, as it gave me confidence today to be more than happy with going slowly. It felt great to be out in the sun and wind - I was going to say fresh air, but the heavy waft of fish & chips and donuts that is Brighton seafront at this time of year rather overwhelmed the on shore breeze.
I will have a rest day tomorrow and not go out again, besides I'm at work and that will be enough.
I was ravenous when got home. Had quite a bit of raw veg 1st but needed some weetabix to fill myself up in the end.

I bet your family are pleased to see you home again Victory.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Eeek. Thought I was pretty fit until I tried the Nell McAndrew Ultimate Challenge DVD. So many squats and I couldn't do the cardio bit properly cos the person in the room below me probably wouldn't have appreciated all the running on the spot and jumping around. But I was good and knackered at the end. Definitley want to do it again. Quite funny watching Nell and the other members of the group doing the wrong thing at the wrong time or struggling with the difficult bits, gave me hope.
  • I weighed myself today, 147.0lbs so that makes a 1.5lbs loss!

no weigh in for me this week as taking the week off dieting due to wedding this weekend gone and day trips and visiting the folks this week.

Can anyone recommend a good excerise dvd for all round aerobics and toning. Something that will keep me interested and not kill me in the process

Well very upset to report 1.4 lb on. Have had an awful week and felt worse than I ever have since I was first diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue....spent all bloody week in bed, no exercise and ate a lot that I shouldn't have....starting to feel a litlle better today but am so disappointed in the gain .
  • just checking in to force myself to tell you what im eating - going to start following my tesco diets mealplan again as have been a bit lax and just realised i start uni in 6 weeks and id like to have lost 11 pounds by then!!

B - cereal with milk and apparently beans on toast
L - Egg salad sandwich with one egg and 1 slice of bread
1 glass of milk and one apple
T - 1 Stuffed pepper with rice and veg (white rice not brown as thats all i have)
Snack - Peanut butter sandwich - again with one slice of bread

    Exercise:
planning on this warm up http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u7ktyu-vyHQ
    followed by tescodiets toning exercises.

moneysaving diet tips ive found - it can be cheaper to buy raw ingredients and also - the library! didn't think of this until i was doing overtime last week and a friend wanted to go to the library to hunt out some cookbooks and i found some great low fat ones.

hope all is good, more777 how did the slimming world go? i wanted to join when i started losing weight but paid for the online tescodiets instead and it is good.

    speak soon
I am a poor student wife now but don't think I can edit username? i study dance and love it though of course, it'll be a career that doesn't earn a lot of money!!

lost 5lbs so far - up to 11lb more to lose i think, will stop if it looks skeletal though dont think that could ever happen!
