KPC I'm sorry to hear about your grandad. Sending you hugs from all of us.

awwwww, thanks guys. It's disappointing, but a the few people i've spoken to think that it's the right thing to do. The ideal solution would be to pass it to someone else, then if i wanted to i could have my own round at a later date with less pressure. it's a shame really, i had high hopes, but i'm going mental. I'm out for hte day job 0800-1730, 5 days a week with no real break; then 2 nights a week 1730-2100 for DD, plus about another hours paperwork each DD night. Then add in prob 20 mins a day paperwork for DD, and another 2 hours per month stocktaking etc. Then most summer weekends i take friday as holiday, get up at 0600, do the shopping, prepare food, leave at 1300 to do a full weekends re-enactment - which is fun but hard work, up at 0700 each day; arriving home usually 2300 on monday. i've kept this up for 2 years, which when i see it written down staggers me. No wonder I haven;t vacuumed in 6 weeks!

I'm sorry to hear about your Grandad KPC. I'm sure you won't regret the decision to ease your workload/commitments. I went from the equivalent of two full time jobs, to one, to half, and I've never been happier even though obviously far less money is coming in. Keep us posted and look after yourself at this difficult time :)

awwww, you are all so nice! anyone in the yorkshire area fancies a go at doorstep deli give me a pm!!

went to see Gforce in 3D last night. One of the most entertaining films I have seen in a long long time. One that works for kids and adults, would recommend it to anyone, and the 3d effects were very good!

So sorry to hear about your grandad KPC, lovely the Alzheimers didn't take his memory of you all though. I echo completely what the others have said, nothing is more important than your health and work-life balance is so important. You love the re-enactment stuff so keep that and let DD go, for now. Who knows what will come and where you'll be in the future, it may be the perfect time to start it up again then. Have a big hug from me and look after yourself xxxx
