    Morning all!

Beanie ooh lucky you off to France - isn't that the second time this year, or am I getting mixed up? I like to pack light when I go away, and my trick is to pretend I'm going for a shorter time than I really am. Generally I expect to visit a laundrette at least once a week while I'm away :) I don't own very many clothes so packing is never difficult :p

FFM I know you were umming and ahhing about your maintain levels, good for you on giving yourself a bit more leeway for that extra muscle :D

BB it sounds like you're getting loads done! I am intrigued about these changes to the way you live. Hope it works out well for you!

Thanks Granny. I really am planning on having a proper rest for 4 weeks, if it goes to plan it will be child-friendly stuff with my son and not a lot else :) I think it will do me a lot of good to have a decent break and then build up again. (BTW why do you still have size 20 stuff in your wardrobe? Must be clear out time soon?! ;))

Well that's one way of shedding some weight Victory!!! Sorry that you've not been well, hope you're on the mend.

WOOHOO, congratulations Granny, that must've been a lovely feeling! :T I'd go for a few quality items that make you feel amazing if it was me...

Fantastic news that you like packing so much too, can I please book you in for 5th Aug? :D

As for your anal comment followed by Vic's multifunctional tool....where are the boys?:rotfl:

I now have a lovely little nephew called Archie, born on Thursday :jThis means I spent 4 days in Brum and eating/exercise therefore was affected significantly, but worth it to meet the little man 2 weeks early :D No idea what Wednesday's weigh-in will bring, still finding motivation hard but I am trying. It's a weird time to be trying to get into routines when everything else is being packed and put away ready for a whole new life somewhere else

Just home from work like a drowned rat! Supposed to go weigh in today but thought it rather more important to come home and change out of my sopping wet shorts n work shirt. I must admit tho, i did have fun splashing in the puddles :j

So peeps, any useful suggestions for snacks when you 'fancy something nice', in my case usually chocolate? Thanks.

Something nice..them were the days:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: no added sugar chocolate angel delight, bananas in the oven with their skin on, I do those on the bbq also the kids love them all the natural sugars come out and they are all hot and squishy, lovely with some fromage frais or 0% greek fat yog, I am not really the one to advise as to me an apple with its natural sugars being diabetic is a treat to me:rotfl:
Sugar free jelly, layered with yog/fruit that is lovely and refreshing especially on a day like today when it is so hot. Low fat/low sugars cheescake? I love mysugar free cheesecake version and the kids do too, looks indulgent, special and nicely presented but does not dent the cals etc

  • Granny, the scales that I have are "Tanita BC543 Glass Electronic Bathroom Scale" - they have them on Amazon at the moment - I wasn't allowed to post a link :(

Missy, I think I found it easier to increase my maintain weight because I had just got back down to my original maintain weight. If I had done it whilst I was heavier, I might have felt as if I had given up - IYSWIM.
