    This week, 77.2 kg.

This time last week, 77.8 kg.

Therefore, a loss of 0.6 kg.

I've been very inactive for the past month, had swine flu followed by bronchitis. Now getting back to normal. Went to aqua-aerobics on Monday. Discovered that I can still swim on my back without floats and can get back to my feet. The pool I go to is ideal for me because it's 1.1 m depth all over - no deep end/shallow end.

I've been stuck on a plateau in the 77s for weeks and decided to give my metabolism a jolt - am eating low-carb for a while.

PS: That was a loss of a fraction over 1 pound since last Wednesday.

Bananasplit - know what you mean Slash, Duff and Trent Reznor are my guilty pleasures. But my fav metal bands you just couldn't call them poster boys. But I like your taste Tommy Lee yes Vince Neil not so sure. My cd list is a bit like yours pop, hip hop, metal, dance, boy bands :shhh:, punk, and OH's classical. The only thing I can't get is jazz (gives me a sore head) Miami Ink is fantastic. OHs tattoos are kinda Kat Von D ish. He keeps trying to persuade me to get one too. I have been toying with getting one on my back for a while but we're hoping to get married soonish (when we can afford it) and I don't think it would go with the white dress. :D

Yeah metal boys don't exactly lend themselves to calendars and such like :rotfl: but I think that's part of the appeal to be honest! Boy bands are an essential part of everyones collections I think ;). Not too keen on jazz myself but will happily listen to classical when I'm in the mood.
I love Kat Von D. Her portrait tattoos are amazing. I think a tattoo can look lovely with a wedding dress but that all depends on the tattoo.

0.2lb loss this week. Which puts me back on half a stone and only 2lb away from the top of my weight range which is good. I think I'm happy with that particularly after weeks of going up or an STS :D Hopefully next week will be better!

Well done to all other Losers or STSers!
  • well done annie - great academic result and some great wis too! Missy, good cereal - like weetabix crunchy bran, you can have 42g. 2 weetabix is a normal portion. Some of the naughtier cereals like honey nut shredded wheat you can only have 28g of. Out of interest i once poured out what I would call a decent portion of honey nut shredded wheat and it was about 70g!

Re cereal portions I always have a cup hand full, as it comes out whatever fits in the hand I have, used that for a couple of years now since all this started and seems to work, my DS has porridge in the morning and you should see the bowlful he has OMG that would be enough for 3 kids I am sure but he loves it, scrapes the bowl and goes off to school full and happy. We long gave up on buying any cereals that contain sugars like coco pops, honey nut etc al the ones advertised on the tele which we had to have because inside the box was a plastic rubbish gift:rotfl::rotfl: never buy anything like that now, just shreddies, porridge, weetabix or muesli or make the muesli, the kids love the oven baked muesli bars:D

Hi guys, I watched the cereals debate on TV too but we only have brands when they're on BOGOF and DS eats porridge by the bucketload. :rotfl:

BB - I'm not missing all the extras that I've cut out, which has surprised me, but some nights I do still feel that I'd love to tuck into those pastilles if I'm watching a DVD! :o I've managed to avoid them, so far.

With any luck, I'll manage to squeeze into the new jeans this weekend and then there'll be no turning back. I've learned over the years that there's no way of my getting back to an 8 without starving, so no point fretting about it in middle age! If I can get back to, and maintain, a size 12 then I'll be happy to stick with that. It'll help when I hit 50 and join $aga for those discounted holidays that need long line bathing suits and flowery swimming caps! :rotfl:
