I had the same all summer Bananasplit - I 'tweaked' my approach every four weeks and stuck to it without fail but nothing worked.

What's worked for me this past month is reducing (again) my 'exercise burn' calorie credit, and sticking solidly to a 12.5% deficit of maintain calories. This month my fat loss is spot on what it should have been.

    Today 77.8 kg

This time last week: 78.2 kg

So, a loss of 0.4 kg

However, I am still plateaued in the 77+ range. Not yet managed to get back to 77.0 kg which I was on 1st September and 7th October.

A desperately disappointing STS for me this week :(
I honestly do not know where I'm going wrong. I just can't get away from this point. No matter what I do I feel stuck at this weight.
This week I've eaten how I'm supposed to, I've exercised more actually but still nothing.

    I hate plateauing

Well done to all losers and all other STSers!

We have all been there, the dreaded plauteau, some people reckon a good meal gets you over it,(pumps up the metabolism and gets it started again), some people more exercise, don't forget to write everything down including drink, the odd mint, the snacks, write it all down, I had a fab website all about plauteau if I find it again will put the link up

  • Thanks Missy and Victory.

It's just really irritating when you know you've worked bloody hard and all you see is the same weight!

CONGRATS to all the losers and STS's!

I've now been doing the weight loss thing for 11 months and I'm extremely pleased with the size I've got down to but I would really like to get down to a healthy BMI too so my aim by the time I hit my first anniversary weight loss is to drop into the healthy BMI range (the top end of it but I don't think the lower end would be possible or healthy). Here goes...really must put some effort back in I've sort of got the hang of STS but naughty habits are creeping back in.
