Hi again,
Got my new laptop yippee:j it's very posh! lol!
Although I was bad at lunchtime today, ate a lot of pizza...oops. Must try harder...but the odd treat is ok...I hope, only the scales will tell!
Really should be studying just now, I'm in my last year of uni, but playing online is just so much more fun!
Much love, weesmiler xxAll you need is less0 -
I want to know what the question was Melissa!
Great loss Rosie! How can you call 2lb/week slow and steady though?!!! :rotfl: That's a stone every 7 weeks - it's falling off you at that pace!
Just came back from 24km hilly cycling, ate lunch in about 2 mins flat after that, was starving!
Last week: Average cal intake 1694/day. 69.3km cycling, 26km running, one smallish hike of 6.5km, plus swimming & diving. I managed to pluck up courage to jump from the 5 metre platform for the first time ever, so was pleased with that0 -
Haha it was such a dim questions! I said, if you have to eat 3500 calories to put on a pound is that how much you have to burn to lose one haha! It just seemed like a LOT of hard work is needed lol x0

Well my luck gets better and better - on Friday I managed to give myself food poisioning. For anyone unaware, never, ever let rice stand at room temperature for any amount of time if you plan to reheat it. I did and it was awful, sickness, shakes, fever, stiffness, pins and needles, and hallucinations. Lovely.
On the plus side I have a completely flat tummy for the first time when standing in about 3 years. I know my scales said 4lb gain last week but I'm still sure they're lying! Will have to see what Wednesdays weigh in brings. My average calorie intake over the last 7 days has been 812, but this is obviously hugely influenced by getting sick and eating nothing on Saturday but 2 glasses of lemonade and half a piece of toast, and only having a plain chicken sandwich yesterday.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
Debt September 20th 2022 £2991.68- 96.92% paid off0 -
Ew that sounds horrible Dinah. Hope youre over it now. I did a food and hygiene certificate back in school and they told us then that rice is worse than chicken for food poisoning so im always DEADLY careful if i reheat rice from a chinese or whatever.
Matt and i are celebrating our 4 year anniversary tomorrow - were quite close in age to you bails! I dunno how he has put up with me for 4 years, but last night at the family meal (his brother is back from afghan) i did wonder how i had put up with his family for that long too.
I did a workout dvd this morning! It got boring so i didnt finish it but i did a good 40 mins. Thats my monthly workout done0 -
I've been exercising on one of those 'twister stepper' machines (about £30 from Argos), doing 30 mins every morning, do you think it will help at all? I've been dieting for months now and started using this 2 weeks ago, I weighed myself after a week of using it and didnt lose as much as usual, which was strange because I wasnt doing any exercise before I bought it?!0

Creating a 3,500 calorie deficit for every pound IS hard work!!! That's why we need to be pleased with ourselves for every single 1lb loss we get!
Re: the stepper Melissa, any time you spend being active will help burn calories and can also improve/maintain muscle tone. Remember muscle is more dense than fat, so if you lose 1lb of fat and gain 1lb of muscle you will appear slimmer and trimmer without any difference in overall weight.0 -
Thanks Missy its just disheartening when you get on the scales and haven't lost so much but I understand - my cellulite is dissapearing now haha
