    Good morning all.
I've got a day off uni today, lucky me. But I'm stuck at home waiting on delivery of a new laptop, can't wait!
Hopefully I'll squeeze in a spin class later tonight, weight loss is at a bit of a plateau, really would love to get another pound off for the chart this week!

I hope everyone has had a smashing weekend,
    Have a lovely week,

    G'morning to all,

Bails, hope you're feeling better soon, maybe it's just a little bit of a post-excitement downer damping the thought processes with regards to exercise - just find yourself a post in the ground, attach a long rope and take turns each at skipping. Then you can add a second rope and do the double dutch like in the music video from a few years back. That always amazed me as my skipping was always rubbish. :D I'm sure OH will love being called in for doublers. :rotfl:If it's too warm, then you get yourself a bottle of $trathspey spring water and have someone make it rain on the proceedings by shaking the bottle - like in the current advert. :D(If it's broadcast outside of Scotland )

I don't feel like I'm losing weight despite having stuck to my week 3 promise to not eat anything after 9pm! Haven't weighed myself yet, leaving that until Wednesday morning when my full week will be completed but just wanted to confirm that I have NOT eaten anything whilst watching TV at night. My back is still out so can't even manage a decent walk along the road. I got a lift into town for some shopping yesterday and got temporarily stuck in the car! I hope painkillers aren't fattening! :rotfl:

Hm, walking round the stupa, prostrating themselves on wooden boards, which looks VERY hard work...

It's certainly a full body workout! I think wii fit has something similar ;)

Nyk, well done on sticking to your resolve and I hope you're rewarded with a good result on Weds.

Hope everyone else has a good week too!
  • lol! well the fumes made me less inclined to eat! whats a stupa bails? glad you stayed good victory, we all have more faith in you than you do!
  • hey all!

i would like to report -4lb on the chart this week!:j sounds alot but had a sts last week, so im still hitting my average of 2lb a week which im pleased about. slow and steady wins the race.
thankyou for all you messages of support about the break-in. feeling much better about it, still a bit jumpy tho.
going to start looking on ebay and news ads for another telly. we only want a wee one, you know, the ones which are as deep as they wide. everything in the shops these days are LCD flat screens ect.. cheepest was £169!!!! great for your own house, but for a student share, far too steep!

A word about the OH or friends who seem to have it in for you, in the words of my very down the line father..'dont let the !!!!!!!s grind you down'. life is far too short to be allowing such inconsiderate people spoil your day.
    xxx
shift the bulge! - 54lb lost so far :j .....alot more to go......

Yes I stayed good just a few biscuits that was it, so not really worth worrying about as I am sure the bikkies did not come up to 3,500 cals which would equal a 1lb gain:D oh but what I was going to eat though that was another matter:rotfl: busied myself with house work, sulking, laughing at nyk comments, being on the chat rooms, building more into the xmas eve hampers, sewing on cub badges, going shopping for eldest, that kind of stuff and now he is very apologetic, but I don't want apologies as I say to my eldest just don't do it in the first place:rotfl:all good now, rang me twice from work, he asked me what I was doing and told him that I was putting myself on the web cam entertaining the men:rotfl::rotfl:(we saw a documentary that they said they earn £30 an hour):rotfl:my eldest keeps telling me he would not get out of bed for the wage I earn per 4 hours which is less than he earns selling sweets at school:D

The answer is yes Melissa! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news :D

    Well done Vic :T

KPC, this is the stupa I live near

OH and I were still feeling very sluggish today so late this afternoon we went for a walk through the more country streets on the way to Kopan (a famous monastery near here). It wasn't ideal but was lovely to do something so we'll be doing it again. Roll on the next Himalayan adventure that's what I say!

Holiday ends here tomorrow so my weighing lady may be back. Hopefully we'll have more routine again. Need to get some fruit and veg in us or by the time we travel home through Mongolia we'll be seriously deficient in vitamins! Didn't think it would be so difficult.

    Great result Rosie, well done!
